We explore Keepers Cottage Stud - Where a Double Murder Took Place in 2014

- Keepers Cottage Stud was the former home of John Lowe, a puppy farmer and now convicted murderer. It was at this home in the quite surrey countryside where John Lowe also murdered Christine and Lucy Lee in February 2014, despite Surrey police removing Mr Lowe's guns from him over a previous threat he made to someone they were returned to him 7 months prior to him using one of them to commit the double murder, the IPCC criticised Surrey Police decision to return the guns in their report and I believe the Police officers involved resigned following the report. On our way out we were spooked by the sound of foot steps very close to our location, yet there was no sign of anybody......
This absolutely creeps me out. For 10 years (1998 to 2008) , I used to deliver frozen pet food to this guy. Every 2 weeks. Seeing this video brings back so many memories. Hard to think about what happened here. Glad it's been torn down now and built on but thank you again.

honestly crazy, my nan bought her old dog from this place back in 2003 - poor boy was riddled with skin cancer had to be put down about 8 years ago - her and my uncle both said there was something creepy and off about the owner

I think you were very brave to explore a place where a heinous crime took place. The difference in the tone of your voice was so different. I really enjoy watching your explores but this one was so different. I remember this crime well because of its coverage on the news but although I watched this video transfixed, it left a really cold feeling running all over me
I’ve just typed in the location as I’ve just seen this story on a Netflix documentary called my lover my killer as it was showing footage titled vlogger footage and this came up, so tragic what happened here with the lady and her daughter and the dogs. What an evil man

The phone call is heartbreaking. The responder was utterly Inept. Making her repeat information that she’d already stated. It made her panic feeling she’d not been listened to. You can hear the second time she repeats it she’s audibly frantic.
Not really, the responder was clarifying the information to initiate the best response for the situation !!

in a csi point of view the first room upstairs in the video you will see some of the wood looks wet is my guess where he shot christine which is eerie feel to be in along with the kennels but his excuses were unbeleivable why he shot christine and lucy by accident when he shot them claiming in self defence at first

Useless police call responders seem to be universal! I had similar experience with Hampshire Police. They seem to think they ARE police, and assess the call, instead of just getting real police in action. Hopeless bureaucrats is all they are.
In the police station he didn't even sound like he cared that he shot 2 of the people's closest to him
They hated each other and they were 2 to one. The man was living in a burning hell. That's hard to imagine for most people and how extremely bad his situation was, I wouldn't like being in his shoes for all the money in the world.

What a sad story, I found the article online, this old man John, he just an selfish, he was relying on these women for food and money, well John died in prison. He has no remorse, he even said in court he is not sorry. This guy is terrible on what he has done.

He shot Christine in the front living room, at point-blank range, he then shot Lucy probably in the kitchen, she stumbled outside and died.

It's at the very start of the video, his reason he shot the four dogs. To his mind they weren't trustworthy to be left with others due to aggression (lol wut, after shooting two unarmed women he thought the dogs were more of a problem), but I think that's honestly a load of shit. That Lowe character was quite deranged. Based on how he's described I'd say he was a narcissist but had some other issues too.
He had a history of violent behaviour and had previously had his firearms confiscated by police. Unfortunately 7 months prior to the murders his guns were returned to him. His evidence was ridiculous, and stated he accidentally shot the 66 year old during an argument as the gun had a hair trigger (bullshit).
Doesn't exactly explain why he needed to shoot the 40 year old though. If it demonstrates his mindset at the time and during the trial, he said they had to be put down due to some ongoing issues they were having, which amounted to nothing more than this old guy being a control freak and losing his shit every time he couldn't get his own way.
This a place for you to have ghost hunters along with you at night!

It always amazes me who women will live and have sex with based on a man having money. Amazing.
Poor man lost his freedom and died in jail because of those two women drove him crazy in his own property. He had nowhere to go for help.
@Maxine McKenzie 23 He shouldn't have done it, but it was his only option to free himself from the dreadful control and oppression imposed by those two greedy women on his life and in his own home. After the event, he regained his personal space and freedom (by going to jail). John Lowe said and maintained: "They had to go" and so he made them go. In the end, he was at peace and pleased with his action. He shouldn't have killed his four dogs though, it wasn't their fault, the dogs were caught in the middle of this unique situation.
I hope the authorities in the UK learnt something from this case and put in place provisions to help people like John in the future, avoiding the same sort of thing from occurring again..
Who could have helped him getting out of that trap? What would you have done if you had been in his shoes?

If he wanted them gone he could have asked them to and called the police and evicted them! The women say as they felt trapped he wanted them trapped in the house
@owenkitto27 There are different versions of what the situation was, they conflict with each other. Perhaps, we will never know the truth.
