Thanks Gents, I really appreciated the video. I have a 200t and this will help prolong its life. I'm far from a small engine mechanic so any hands on video I can watch regarding the 200t or just chainsaws in general is invaluable. I love running my 200 t as it can certainly rip but every time I use it I'm always thinking about its longevity. Thanks again, great show!

Best thing after rebuild is use VP Racing fuel i use 40;1 its available in 50;1 but the saws last so much longer with the extra oil. It’s not cheap but i have not had to bring the saws in to be worked on! I still run my 020Super AV good job on the break down !using a little air when you change your chain will keep the saw a whole lot cleaner. That dirt and oil traps a lot of heat.

This particular saw was the best saw EVER MADE BY STIHL! Bought two of them in about 1990 and literally cut down well over a million in contracts with them. Remove brake and spark arrester and no problems. Carb kits were needed every couple of years. Rarely used any other saw even on big stuff. Light. Powerful. Dependable. Used optimal 2 mix exclusively. Still use them but gave me 2 decades of heavy commercial use. Almost unheard of. 🤣

To replace water bottle, first remove engine. That manifold area is a cluster for a saw of this price. A small width stainless hose clamp would have worked great there.

At least it will feel the same in my hand and maybe it will work good enough for me that I won't be too disappointed.
