Central Park Dance Skaters

Every weekend the Central Park Dance Skaters Association sponsors an afternoon of skating. They provide the DJ and great music for this free event. Check it out here, then head to the Mall near the 72nd St Transverse some weekend.

Omg I miss going to Central Park. This has been going on since the late 70’s which is when I started going. We would take the PATH from Hoboken to 34 street and skate all the way to Central Park. Good times.

I attended my first CPSA gathering today and I am HOOKED! It was truly amazing and typing this almost 5 years later, I saw many of the same faces today. This is truly a special event. I would always pass these people years ago thinking I could never do that and there I was. Please keep it going, the world needs more of this. Can't wait to roll, bounce and boogie again in the next couple of weeks.
