Oohhhh I remember back in the day most people could skate like this. The skating rink was the place to be on the weekends. No fighting just a lot of fun.

It is a style that requires a lot of balance and energy to do.
Crazy legs, downtowns, grapevines, spins (regular and squatted), sling shots, crosses, hourglass, figure eights, spot wrexing, etc.
I stopped years ago and I'm trying to get back on that horse, I never realized how much energy it required.
Once it is acquired it is lots of fun.
This guy is really enjoying himself.
That's what is all about.
This is incredibly difficult, yet this man does it like it's nothing.

No, this is the easy stuff. We do it at speed, while changing direction, around loads of other skaters. On the spot stuff, come on...there's no 'danger' to it, very safe..

when i used to go to magic wheels there was a small crew of guys that would do this stuff in unison to certain songs and it was like watching a paid performance.
Have to give credit where credit is due. He is pretty damn good! It doesn't only take skill but also being in good shape to do some of that.

I can roller skate well.....but not that well...
I don't think the crowd fully appreciated how very difficult it is to skate at this level.
This be reminding me how it use to be back in the day down at the rink.went to an 80s nite at the local rink and all the newer crowd was just skateing around in circles.not even moving any part of their bodies to the beats.but you can tell who all the old kats were from back in the day.we be jammin.all over that place.

My sista and I decided to skate again since the pandemic began for some outside cardio. We haven't skated since we were teenagers. As soon as we put the skates on and started, we stopped 😂! It is hard as hell. I need a trainer 😂

I used to love skating. I would get lost in it. I always wondered where my super round posterior and thick muscular thighs came from, seeing as not one person on either side of my family was built like me. I was 10 years old when I started and I skated every day, on asphalt in the trailer park. Then I got to start going to the rink and I got a different pair of skates for that. White leather with blue wheels. I skated practically everyday for 2+ years. Then I started lifting weights, then I was in the drum line, then I ran 100m hurdles on the track team. I was 5' 3" and I'm a girl. 35 years later (about 2 weeks ago) I found my white skates in a memory trunk. I put them on and other being a little stiff, kinda like me, they still fit. I stumbled around a bit on the hardwood floors in my house and it all came rushing back. Then my muscles in my legs, arse and back reminded me of what they used to do and I thought to myself "self ... why don't you take your punk ass to a skate rink and get in shape". Think about it, resistance and control without impact to joints, I mean unless you fall of course. My bulbous figure has managed to hang on all these years but imagine how much more I could get my muscle to stand up and be noticed again. I still have an ass you could crack a walnut on and if you try to slap it I won't be the one in pain, your hand will tingle with numbness.
