100% agree. One of the best album i've ever heard, and your reaction is just 🤌♥️ chef's kisses. Aurora said that she would return to "dark aurora" in a future project and plus she said that "A Little Place called The Moon" is a perfect "connector" for her next album. She's basically a Queen, Fairy, Mother Nature, Goddess in one body.
Conversion therapy is still a thing indeed! It's banned in only 16 countries, but several more are changing laws in near future. Only 20 US states have fully or partly banned it.

Your reaction to Everything Matters is exactly how I was when I first heard it - jaw hitting the floor, overwhelmed by the otherworldly melody and instrumentation.
It’s just such a great piece of music, it’s as simple as that tbh, never get tired of it
Aurora does not mean heathens in a negative sense. It’s only Christianity that demonised earth based practices which is heathen or pagan… Aurora is all about such things. Hence the album and paying homage to the Gods we can touch and not a God in the sky. She interviews about this concept quite a bit.
She has a concert in the Norwegian forest you know. She is our Norwegian mother earth 🌍 A nature child. A fairy 🧚♂️ as you said. Love from Norway 🇳🇴
I confess that when I heard it the first time, I didn’t liked it much, I was expecting something more folk and indie vibe, but then it’s bops after bops, I LOVE this album. I think it’s her most commercial album, but that’s ok she has bills to pay.

I like how you said, "Shes made of magic"! My google hub recommended Runaway on a thumbnail over a yr ago. I thought, wow, she looks young and I like her hair so I watched/listened. I have been listening to her every single day since. My daughters and I got to see her live in May and we got to meet her!!! She was AS AWESOME live as I expected!!! The way you said you feel floaty...that is how I feel when I listen to all of the layers of her songs (especially towards the end of Exhale Inhale, which is one of my faves from this album).

Hands down best album of hers. I mean, some of my favorite songs of hers are from other albums… but as a whole, this is beautiful perfection.

Everything Matters, Giving Into The Love, Cure For Me, Heathens, A Temporary High, and A Dangerous Thing, are all as impressive individually as anything I've heard since Tool released their Ænima album. She has this gift for creating music which is simultaneously quite unusual (non-conventional melodies, odd genre blending), but also which feels like the music you've been waiting to hear all your life. It's not like no one has ever tried weird things like she does. The difference for me, is that she does it every time, and makes it wonderful. And I'm not hearing a plateau in her ability. She just keeps getting better at it.

Just listened to all 4 of your Aurora reaction and I love how much you love her already. And the crazy thing is, that if you have only listened to her songs, you are only halfway there. Because half the experience i watching her sing. I am sure other people have already told you this a hundred times, but you need to watch some of her live performances. The music videos are great of cause, but the live sessions are out of this word.

This album is stunning. The production, the vocals, everything is just next level. I think my two favs from this album are Everything Matters and This Could Be A Dream. I would love to see you react to some live performances of your fav songs, or some interviews/documentaries with her as she's such a character haha. I highly recommend checking out her friend and fellow Norwegian artist Sigrid! Her new album just came out a few weeks ago.
When you speak about the animalistic sound, I think you also mean primal because that's the word I use to describe her music so it actually makes a lot of sense when you say it's animalistic. when you say primal you thing of an animals primal instincts. I would love to see you look into SKOTT. Her production is really top notch, not to mention her voice also has an insane range.

I know I'm so late to this video but Pomme has heavy Aurora vibes but as a French singer. Ethereal, soft, and existential and sometimes (mostly) depressing. If you haven't already, I would recommend her album "les failles" or "consolation" with a translation pulled up because her vibes are also excellent, if her feature wasn't enough haha.

You missed 3 non-album singles + 2 songs from her very first EP (pre-All My Demons), and she has ~22 unreleased songs which are on YT (most from All My Demons "era" and a few from Step1 / Step2 era). She also have 3 songs in Norwegian.
She has done ~20 great cover songs which are all on YT, and that is not counting the 2 you already heard on All My Demons, and not counting a few Norwegian ones.

As some other suggest : go for live now, and if I can add this, get the FULL concert version of them, in between song she talk, some time a lot, most of the time very funny, and you won't have it in ''cut version' one song at a time, don't worry, we'll be here for those long version and all the NRK production are never cut from YT ;-) grab any of them, you'll be amazed. My favorite one is Nidarosdomen.

in her first two albums she’s playing the character (crybaby) and you’re going through her life and traumas throughout each song and both her ep’s are about her personal life. and k-12 (her second album) has a movie attached to it, and she’s planning on making movies with all her new projects. overall i highly recommend her :)

If you are going to do live videos of her, then please for the love of god do the Nidarosdomen concert. Do the whole thing in one session uninterupted, well you can pause and stuff to talk, but show us the whole thing. Knowing how much you like Aurora and if you are ever going to trust a complete stranger like me when I say it, that concert is the best one ever by any artist. It's so beautiful it can't be described. Oh my god. If you haven't really seen her live videos yet, then brace yourself because I promise you, you have only experienced half of it so far. If you thought Aurora was good.... Just wait.

Sorry. Normally wouldn't double-comment, but I had to toss in my $0.02 on Heathens.
