5 Best Hammer-Fired Pistols In The Market

- You may disagree with this, but today's handgun market is dominated by striker-fired pistols. While it is not a bad thing, there are some shooters who think that hammer-fired guns are already antic and outdated. Now, that's the one I really consider bad.
Sure, there are certain qualities that make striker-fired handguns a more convenient choice for many modern shooters. Still, I do love the level of safety that these hammer pistols possess. And if you get the right one, you can get a total package for a gun that you can use for different scenarios.

Enough with the AI Voice!!
25 seconds into the video, I’m out of here. Cannot take the AI voice.
AI voice, stock footage, likely plagiarized script… no wonder this channel released 222 videos in only 10 months of existence.
I like SA/DA. Knowing the position of the hammer provides great feedback.
Thunder 380 great pistol
CZ 75 line of pistols is my fav above all. I prefer the decocker, which is something I didn't believe I would like until I really thought it through. I dislike striker fired pistols; I've owned 3 of those of various sizes. Don't like them. I prefer the DA/SA hammer fired types. I prefer 9mm for economy, practice ease and comfort. I've owned 1911 .45 in the past. I really like S&W as well in the 9mm DA/SA config pistols. I totally dislike polymer-framed pistols- especially in larger calibers. The harmonic resonance is disconcerting to me. I am sure many of you can agree with me on all I've stated here.
I prefer hammer-fired pistols.
Eight of my nine pistols are hammer-fired.
My full-size 45 HK USP and 9mm HK USP are my two favorite hammer-fired pistols.
I don’t know about the CSX pistol but as an owner of a Sig P2022, P226 SAO Legion, and the M11a1/P229 without a rail and the CZ 75 PCR Compact I think your assessment of hammer fired pistols is spot on.
I do own other Sig and S&W striker-fired pistols but hammer fired pistols are by far my preferred and favorite handguns.
I agree on hammer fired pistols
But the staccato is a no go
Lots of good guns for a lot less
Is AI reading this script? The pronunciation of common words throughout this video was odd.
You mean you don't say "Mo Dern"? Or, "Mini Meter"?
Makes me not want to trust the analysis of these guns. Plus, my experiences with the Beretta and Staccato pistols has been horrible.
Hammer fired pistols? The 1911 is the king of hammer fired pistols. The Browning High Power is the crown prince of hammer fired pistols.
I did the thumbs-up AND subscribed. Good thing you spent the time you did on the CZ 75s.
As far as striker fired guns, I think their strong point is their safety. For people who know very little about firearms, they are safe. Me,.....I am a hammer gun guy. I have a CZ75 I bought several years ago that has never malfuctioned. About 1985 or 86 I bought the first Glock 17 I ever saw. Shot it, cleaned it up, two weeks later I sold it for what I paid. Have never bought another. Glock-the-blocks don't show me anything. Besides, THE GUN DON'T WIN THE GUNFIGHT.
I am an old man interesting to find out about AI I thought these people either had a speech impediment or just didn't know how to read.
Close. AI voice is for CZcams creators with a speech impediment that also don’t know how to read.
CZ PCR!!!
Your forgot the esteemed Heckler and Koch USP and P30 lines.
HK P30 SKS is my favorite EDC!
Either this was recorded with poor equipment or the AI bot drank to much oil.
ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW!?!
SubSCRIBE!?!
FOR WHAT!?!
AI Recorded drivel, and POORLY RECORDED AT THAT!?!
Who reads "antic" for what should OBVIOUSLY be "antique?"
It is assumed that striker-fired guns have advantages.
Okay.
What are they?
Consistent trigger pull.
@@michaelrichardson6051 While true when referring to the first shot of a DA/SA design, that is not worth the trigger feel on the rest of the shots. (Yes. This is opinion)
Not applicable to SAO designs.
Why the computer generated voice?
The reason the Smith & Wesson Equalizer in Not on your list and the CSX is? The S&W CSX has a history of a trigger reset malfunction problems!
These AI generated videos are horrible
Heck yeah!
The staccato c2 is my fav by far but not a gun I'm comfortable carrying. It's a vary expensive gun but worth every penny! Not something I would want held for evidence if I needed to use it. Sig p365 is my go to carry. Ive been carrying a 365 variant since its release and the macro grip module fits my hand like a glove. If I had to choose one pistol as a battle pistol scenario it would be neither of the 2 I previously mentioned. My CZ 75 sp01 is a no brainer. I own all the pistols covered here besides the first entry and the Beretta. I owned a Beretta at one time but I prefer the CZ and the sig 226 over the Beretta. Still its preference and the pistols mentioned are great firearms and most have a rich history in law enforcement and military.... I didn't expect such a good lineup when I heard the AI voice narrating. Great job!
@@tomgoodwin9161I just got my ccw, so I’m a bit new to this. You mind explaining why turning it on as stolen is any different if you used it in a scenario?
I have a pair of CZ 75 SP01's COMPETITION with the lighter springs. It retains drop safety feature while some of the SP 75 lineup do not. By far my favorite pistols, although my HK P30 SKS is a very close second...my EDC which the CZ 75 SP01 are far too heavy and quite large for concealment...if I coulld I would.
CZ make the best pistols for the price plain and simple! Any list without CZ is an indication of how stupid the person making the list🤔😳
Your video clips of the Beretta 92FS switches between a variant with a slide mounted manual safety and a variant with a frame mounted manual safety.
Ruger LCP MAX 🙂
Very good
Almost all 1911 and 2011.are.made of steel or aluminum. Steel guns are made to last. Unlike polimer guns. Always a thumbs up with hammer fired guns. 😊 Not to mention I own a Sig Sauer P365 X-Macro comp and a CZ p09 and a. Czp10c
CZ rules!
I own a csx and is excellent ,I loved
This Ai crap is an embarrassment:
#1 'mow-durn' = modern
#2 'meely-meater' = mm= millimeter
Ai sucks, votem down.
Not sure why you said the CSX is larger than the Shield Plus, it’s not!
There are two reasons polymer striker fired pistols are so popular: they are lighter, and easier to shoot. You can get them with manual safeties as well, but most people are fine with a trigger shoe safety. If you want to carry a heavy all metal hammer fired pistol, have at it.
Enough with the AI and whoever wrote the commentary is wrong about the weapons in some points, i.e. the beavertail prevents SLIDEBITE, not “the hammer hitting your hand”.
How about the Taurus TH series.
Fantastic firearms.
Stacatto always on the list
I like the p225 p6 or p5
Not human narrated 😢
The P228 has not been manufactured for decades. It was replaced by the P229.
Perfect choices
There is no Ted, this is a computer talking 😵🙈🙈🙈🙈
Pretty sure his name is really HAL.
The……VOICE ! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH……..
Just get a Sig, S&W or Ruger striker fired with a thumb safety.
Wow. Prodigy got no love.
🔥👍
The only striker guns I own are some Savage hunting/varminting rifles. I will never own a striker pistol. I have shot many of them. Even with custom triggers. None compare to a hammer fired trigger, straight from the factory. CZ 75 compact is my go to for ccw.
I like the hammer fired much better .striker fire are much more popular
Why can't Ted pronounce English words correctly? It doesn't seem like it should be so hard. Perhaps he's due for an update?
A operation active is participative with integration and some guns have propection to the sucess
How do you pronounce modern are you a robot yes
The p07 is great
Heck no to the robo voice!
I think the m9 blowes the m18 out of the water. I have both
Not a single HK ?? This is a bogus channel !!
Flippin AI
"Sig Sauer P226 .177 CAL"?
Ditch the robovoice.
Please a human narration would be so much better.
Why are you showing an antiquated Beretta 92 ? Also talking CZ Shadow and showing 75B ?
While talking about the baretta 92, pictures of the Taurus pt92 kept coming up. The taurus is a better design though. As a military armorer, USMC MOS 2111, I have worked on way too many barettas to ever want one. Have a human do the narration, way too many mispronounced words with AI.
Not only am i not going to hit like and subscribe, i'm giving a thumbs down for AI voice.
Antic?
Hk?
Hate these videos that have a fake voice presentation. So many mispronounced words and poor punctuation noted in the speech pattern. I would much prefer listening to Christopher Walken. Just my opinion😁
Ted from Line45 is a bot with abysmally bad AI "English".
The CSX is hot garbage. The trigger is crap and it's difficult to be accurate. The recoil sucks as it left my hand stinging, and it's just not fun to shoot. It's only saving grace is that it's super easy to conceal, even at 3 o'clock IWB. I sold it after only about 100 rounds through it.
Agreed! Wondering the reason the Smith & Wesson Equalizer is Not On This List and the CSX is? Equalizer has a single action internal hammer and a grip and external thumb safety. Very accurate, reliable and well priced.
Looks good 👍
Its design fits its mission. Like the Bodyguard, some get it, some dont. If you want a range pistol, thats not the mission here. Hot garbage for carry is the one you dont carry.
Skip! Stupid robot and no list
I detest A.I. narration.!
also known as the "boat anchor strapped to my hip" collection
