I'm not coast FIRE but I'm still thankful that i only have to work 3 days a week. Those four days off a week are so nice and restful.

I’m finding out that the more time that I have off from work the more I can look after my own health. I have more time for running 🏃🏾‍♀️, cooking healthy food, growing my own food, walking, and reading.

I think this is a great idea. The one issue that I worry about in the US is healthcare. Medical debt can really throw off your plans. Obviously, that is more of a political solution rather than a personal finance one.

You're not wrong at all.
For us, we went with a plan from HealthCare.gov and pay around $1,200 per month. So it's possible but it does require more $$

So, politicians should be in charge of medical care? Not sure that would be the best course of action. Also, there is no getting around the math or the supply and demand for medical care. Quality doctors will not work for free, nor should they. We aren’t getting a whole lot of doctors coming across our open border (8 million so far since 2021), but we are getting a lot of people who consume medical care, clogging up emergency rooms where they cannot be turned away and not paying for it. That shortfall has to be made up by the rest of us suckers who do pay either out of pocket or through our insurance premiums. A strategy worth considering is simply going to an emergency room for care without ID and claiming to be “undocumented”. You cannot - by law - be turned away.
