- "Running uphill is hard. Can I make it easier?
The athletes are joined by Laura Orgue, Salomon athlete and World Champion in the vertical kilometer, to learn tactics for running uphill with less effort. Pushing off the forefoot, keeping the center of gravity just in front of your feet, and pumping with your arms will help you get to the top of the mountain feeling a little better, and ready for the descent."

Very happy to see they mentioned walking was a legit uphill "running" technique. It's sometimes more efficient and just as fast as running!
Agreed Andrey! Do you prefer to power hike through a hill than running then?
I am fluent in two languages and I think she did an awesome job explaining those technical skills. Those are words you don't use on a regular basis.
It is important to have the bounce she explains. That way you aren't destroying your calves by running constantly running on your toes with your calves flexed. Keep the bounce.
These are great Salomon! Short and sweet!
Loved the tips. Hopefully the next one is downhill running tips.
Great tips 🙂

This series of videos is great! Quick question... When you say bounce on the forefoot, do you stay on the balls and toes of the foot the whole time?
Peter Dobson YES I stay on my forefoot & toes. ( like a lion running) , heels are used for standing still...
Mouvement is in French 😀 Nice mix, by the way 😁
What type of watch is she using?
Fabrice Terrade looks like a Suunto spartan wrist HR but I could be wrong
I thought Suunto as well
