How to solve error E4-01 Daikin VRV4

Description of Fault
Master outdoor unit low pressure switch activation.
Detail of Fault
This is stating that there has been a low pressure error on the Master outdoor unit.
This could have been caused by a blockage in the pipe work or a possible shortage of refrigerant.It could be due to a fault with the low pressure sensor/switch.

Solution
Open the valve.
Check the amount of refrigerant and recharge the unit.
Check the user interface display.
Check the transmission wiring between the indoor and outdoor units.

Hi, can an E4 be interrmitent? Once in a while I will get this error, and when it happens, I turn off the power to the indoor unit (using the thermostat) wait a few minutes, then turn it on. It can be several days or a week or more until it happens again. When I do get the error, other indoor thermostats show the same message. Can I damage the compressor if I keep doing it, The whole system is less than two years old. Thank you.

Normally we will press return button after on outdoor power supply to reset the system.

Use multi meter check high pressure switch. (Close is normal, open is faulty)

@@BonMj sir yes fan motor starts but compressor UVW is not drawing any current . After three attempts indoor display shows L5. And inverter drive is not giving any kind of voltage AC and DC.

By refrigerant manufacture notice,need to clear all the refrigerant in the system and recharging if got leakage .
If customer agree to pay you just follow.
If you ask can top up or not,i think a lot off the technician do it.
