This laptop is ridiculous. I just set the same vantage custom mode settings (without max fans, but default custom curve) + throttlestop UV, without any cooling stand and mine hit 34400 points, no throttling. That is crazy result. Such an increase might be drivers/windows update/bios/anything updatable related, I assume, since that is way higher than yours with the same settings or I just got super lucky at silicone lottery. I still have more load testing to do and then move on to GPU OC/UV, but so far so good. Thanks for encouraging me to buying this laptop over the others. It's a beast for a very good price.

Honestly, whilst I love these guides, the whole thing works great straight out the box.
The only issue some may have is CPU throttling from time to time, just get a laptop cooler, put it in performance mode, leave everything as set by Lenovo and just play the game you wish 😂

I know this vid is old now, but what you should have done is move the node to where you want it in afterburner and then hold shift and hit enter twice and it will flatten the curve all the way to the end at the voltage you selected. This would have stopped it from trying to go above where you tried to lock the voltage.

There is a much better one now which I'll just copy the Amazon name for - this thing has a significantly stronger fan and seems to be much more well made. That is, assuming the fans don't end up crapping out much sooner than advertised. Drops my CPU temps 15-20C and same with GPU at only 25-40% max fan speed. 13th Gen Intel i9-13900HX 2.20 GHz

Currently the PC crashes when running Star Citizen and loading in a lot of textures after Quantum Travel.
