Yo Gizmo, you forgot to mention that the 34" ultrawide oled was QD-Oled whilst the 32"4k and 27" 1440p was W-Oled. 2 Different oled technologies.

You need to review more beautiful monitors and POV gameplay on them so we can see 👍👍

Question giz, why is ny 4070 lenpvp pro 5i only scorin arounf 8k but in your video goes at 13k when i play games they seem to be runin great like the other laptops but that happens when i get on timespy

I've always been a fan of Acer. I had an Acer Nitro laptop with a 5900hx and an RTX 3070. It was a beast. My niece has it now and it's still running fantastic.

You could also get even more performance out of your 4090 by undervolting it so you're not capped by power limit.

i just got the same one but on timespy i only get around 8500... and i can tell that in timyspy the fps is being limitesd to 60... you know why

the GPU was probably limited to 105W because the 4050-4070 don't gain performance past 100W.

Gizmo points to the scar with 99% gpu utilization, sees cpu utilization is 24% and says the scar in TLOU is cpu bound. 🤦🏼‍♂️ Come on gizmo.

Asus Scar 18, does It have a Thunderbolt 4 port or 40gbps USB-C? Can you undervolt the CPU in BIOS or with software? Does It already have liquid metal on both CPU and GPU? How are temps in R24, Blender, and gaming 4k ray tracing for both CPU and GPU? Does the Laptop become hot tò touch? Can you install 6400mhz Memory? Does the BIOS let you manual overclock RAM and select profiles and voltage? Display has g-sync and HDR10? How many ms? Mux switcher tò disable iGPU? How does the 14900hx compare tò 13900hx? Can you make a test? Is GPU overclockable at least +200 core +1000 Memories?

Gizmo you have no idea what the term cpu bound means. If your gpu is in the 90+% range you’re not cpu bound, you’re GPU bound. You were at 98% in Dead Space a few times gpu utilization wise. That’s GPU bound.

I’ve never experienced more than 60 FPS with my monitor. Not that I could achieve it on most games with my GTX 1660 with the rubbish cooling

Great video! I was about to swap my scar 16 4090 for this one because the design and the oled display. But this is not it yet. Since 4090 on this is way to much of power cup. May a 4070 on sale for 1699 is a better deal than 3299 for casual gaming. Let check lunar lake and see what is comming still this in 2024. Peace

Due to the screen, the temperature increases by about 5-10 degrees which is Asus Mini LED, but in terms of performance, I saw Legion better. If you game less, Asus is a good option. When it comes to gameplay, Legion seems more logical. Asus color quality is very superior, even legion could not show some effects, it is obvious that Asus does not build only on games with this model.

One complaint is that the keyboard sometimes does not register keys. Most notibale when you softly press at a corner of one key and it feels like it pressed down.
