Worth mentioning that the Taj was also ornamented with diamonds, crystals and gemstones before all that was removed, stolen and looted by invaders. The Taj looks out of the world completely plain on its own.. imagine what it must have looked with all the diamonds and gemstomes shining on it

we use a gopro so there was no issues bringing that in for free. you just can’t bring a tripod and are only allowed 1 battery. so you have to make sure to make the one battery count. we had a few pop ins at the end of the video quickly 😉😉

if you have flexible schedule, you may visit Mathura and Vrindavan, as its just 60 kms from Agra -just casually, just to be back there during Holi, get a feel of that place before Holi, which you must visit during March. on 25th or a few days before.

Cool video. The gardens across the river is where the black Taj was to be built but never was. Those gardens are where I'll head to for sunset photos. Apparently during WWII the Taj was covered by a big pile of bamboo so it couldn't be seen. Agra red fort is supposed to be better than Delhi's red fort.

Also needs to dive deep into the foods, like biryani(very regional), laal maas with romali roti, dathl makni, chicken tikka, paneer butter masala, rojan josh, matar paneer, tandoori, indo-chin, paneer butter masala, the many sweets/desserts (kaju katli, mango kulfi, pista burfi, almond burfi, gar jar ka halwa, fresh galub jamun, rasgoola, rasmali, peda, gujiyia etc).

The builders of this knew that people who look at this mausoleum would do so from down below at street level so the calligraphy that you see on the walls and arches of the Taj actually get bigger as you go up so that when viewed from ground level they all look like they are of the same size. Talk about optical illusions and the sheer attention to detail of the artisans who built the magnificent Taj .

Are you aware that the minarets are tilted some degrees so that in case of an earthquake, they don't fall on the monument. And also the ground below is hollow and resting on bamboo sticks

that structure was originally a palace owned by king Mansingh,. and taj was built over it,. Surroundings will hint you enough that it was a palace and not a graveyard.. Some vlogs have shown the broken parts of older palace still lying there,.
