      Oh, wow! Almost there...!!
How long has it taken you to get that far would you say, and at what level did you start out at (complete beginner, plays another instrument etc)? Thank you

@@TheOnlineViolinTutor I bought my violin on the November of 2020 and I purchased your course and got started around January of 2021. So it took me around 2 and a half years. As you can see I took it slow.

I was trying out both the guitar and the violin and it turned out that violin was way easier for me

Thats super interesting and I wouldnt say thats slow at all! Its going to take time and time for things to sink in properly. You may be able to 'play' something, but playing it with true understanding and mastery, takes time.
Well done and thank you for responding!

Well put. Charting out what your about to go over is definately more effective. I also find that after I've accomplished my written tasks, I've earned my reward by improvising and creating whatever comes to mind. It makes my practicing more fun, furthers where I wish to take myself and helps me endure my creative side. It also extends my practice time.

Merci. I came here looking for general tips for the piano. My left arm is tired but getting stronger to lift my 50 pound violin, I'm hesitating on getting a fifteen pound bow since I've noticed an imbalance.

Thanks! This is brilliant! I had been practising diligently for an hour a day and currently stuck on some pieces....was thinking why i didnt make good progress despite practising it everyday😅 but i see what you mean now. I can try planning out what i want to achieve and practise more effectively....thanks Allison! Also as a newbie violin beginner, been hearing about scales, arpeggios and etude. When do you think these should be add in into a beginner's syllabus? I finished your lession 1to 10🥰 and will purchase your song books🥰. Was thinking if those song books will also add in practise for scale/arpeggios? Should i buy song book 1 first or should i buy bundle? I am serious about learning violin😊

Does it matter when in my practice I do scales like should I start my practice with scales? Thank you!!

Scales are a very good warm up in every sense. But you dont 'have' to start with them if you dont want to.
