- Thousands of Montrealers took to the downtown streets on Saturday to protest the Quebec government's decision to impose a COVID-19 vaccine passport to control access to festivals, bars, restaurants and gyms.

A very peaceful protest, no hate, just high spirits. My first thought was they are far too cheerful for how serious this is, but I can't blame them. Quebec was locked up tighter and longer than anywhere w/ the curfew all winter/spring. Can't blame them for being happy to be out, and among like minded people, rather than their brainwashed family and loved ones. Some people feel really isolated, until they get to a protest or something like it.

I am an Ontario resident, planning to visit Montreal this weekend for a bike ride on Lachine canal, but one problem, I dont' have a vaccine passport, not vaccinated. So am I allowed to visit, stay in hotels, dine, take out food, etc. Thanks.
