The interception at the end is one of the most gut punching feelings I've ever had as a sports fan and as an Ohio state fan. That play was brutal. Hell of a game though. I just want to beat Clemson once in my lifetime.

Championship teams over come adversity. That's what makes the them champions. Clemson over came adversity being down with 3 minutes left in the game. Scored a TD. Then their defense pressured the Ohio State offense into a interception,
Bud Tommy Clemson wouldn’t have been able to overcome that if the refs hadn’t decided to change the call. Clemson also wouldn’t have been able to overcome a holding/facemask call on Chase Young, but they didn’t have to worry about it and instead got a penalty on Ohio State for a rather questionable call and ejection, where Chase Young was getting bear hugged that whole play but they didn’t want to throw the flag. This Clemson team wasn’t a true championship team like OSU was, but they got into the title game with their hand being held by officials.

OSU can still overcome this by beating Clemson the next 5 times they play them. Even if they do that 31-0 beating Clemson gave them will stick out like a sore thumb.
Ohio State is 0-4 vs Clemson and 0-2 against the SEC's South Carolina. Which makes Ohio State 0-6 against the state of South Carolina. 0-2 against LSU in national championship games.
As a buckeye fan it hurts but watching this again reminds me of how great of a game this was even with some questionable calls

It was debateablish so they ruled it in favor of Clemson the underdog to keep the game close and increase ratings. Clemson was getting killed before they took out one of our 3 1st round corners.
It’s an bad call. But the thing is Ohio had many chances to win. But didn’t. I understand if the ref didn’t see the 3 steps because it was so fast.BUT with the review. It’s clear. That’s a fumble.

Even after all the bad calls, OSU still had their chance to win, but the receiver aborted the route that lead to the interception. That was the dagger. I agree there were crucial calls that were poorly called that went against OSU (targeting, fumble both were terrible calls), but at the end of the day they still had their chance at the end. Sucks to see it end that way. Good game though.

Bud Tommy Well, they actually replayed the play, which is why they were able to eject Shaun Wade. While Trevor was down, they rewatched the play to see if there was a penalty.

Well being a buckeye fan, we should have easily won this game. Instead of kicking field goals, should have scored touchdowns. Cant really blame the officials except the fumble returned for a touchdown that was called back. Clemson came back like i thought they would. Great game though by the buckeyes. We will see what happens this upcoming season. Hopefully we make the playoffs and play Clemson again.

Yes that was a key moment in the game also the roughing penalty that should have been a running into the kicker. We should have scored at the end of the game as well. Dobbins not controlling the catch. A lot of things eent wrong in that game. Hopefully next year we play them again in the playoffs.

I'm a old Clemson grad. I know this was two seasons ago, but IMO Ohio St. would have matched up better against LSU than my Tigers did. Ohio St. FINALLY beat us last season, then was destroyed by Bama. Congrats on the victory over Clemson, and Bama would have beat Clemson worse than they did the Buckeyes.

As an Ohio State fan, the Fumble shouldnt have been called an incomplete pass but we blew a 16-0 lead. Instead of scoring touchdowns we kicked field goals and we could not perform in the 4th. We were screwed but that's not the reason we lost. We just blew it.

Bad calls or not. The refs didn't blow this game for OSU. They were up 16-0, and should have been more. They had Clemson down and couldn't finish them off. Clemson is obviously a fantastic team, but OSU had their chances and blew it.
How do you know what Ohio State couldn't have done? They got a sack and got the ball back. And then some dude in Birmingham said that sack was targeting. Which led to another ticky-tak call and the momentum went the other way. And then, Ohio State managed to create a TO and scored. Probably got the momentum back on their side. And 2 seconds later. That same dude in Birmingham changed it back in Clemson's favor. I wish people played sports and stop pretending as if emotions and mental changes aren't a part of sports.

1. Is that stickers I am seeing mainly on the back of the helmets of the players? (I do see booth teams doing it)
2. Why would they do that and what does the stickers mean/represent?

@@jakejake6210 Honestly if Fields had a healthy knee that could have easily been enough the change the outcome among numerous other things that went wrong such as Dobbins injury in the game and the highly questionable fumble TD overturn but you have to play the cards your dealt and Clemson was just able to sneak out with victory. Hopefully we get a season this year. I know everyone wants to see these teams again.
