There is NO manor there has never been a manor. He had a home boo haunt in SD. With some cool props and actors. Then he just started blindfolding people and beating them up in a van. Then he moved to TN and lost all actors and what you see Ben go through in his video is LEGIT all there is. Russ did NOT end the tour because Ben is a CZcamsr. We’ve been watching in his private group for years, he didn’t “sniff out ben” he’s not smarter than we think he is. He’s an idiot and all he has is literally everything ben did. Russ had to stop the tour because there IS nothing else he could have put Ben through.

Ben is saying that Russ is false advertising, kindof a psycho and Ben just wants people to understand what theyre getting into, in a comedic way, which i think he did quite well. I’m surprised no one is talking about the one young woman in the Hulu doc who was kept awake a whole day before to exhaustion with Russ and allegedly possibly experienced things without her consent during sleeping AND the experiences had usually been done by more than one person but this was just Russ in his yard with missing time blocks in footage?

Having been an avid listener of Mile higher media for a long time I’m surprised by this episode. It seems you guys didn’t actually watch all of bens videos. He even put a clip from the hard drive in one of the videos and imo the victims testimonies/ hospitalizations are more than enough evidence. This just comes off as misinformed but I don’t think you guys have ill intentions. I wish you would’ve waited until bens entire Mckamey manor series was done to give your full take

Why is this episode over two and a half hours long? I feel like I've been seeing a trend on Lights Out and Mike Higher where things are drawn out and repeated unnecessarily. as far as the missing drive, ben did show a clip of the guy chained at the wrists to a truck dragging a man. this resulted in some serious damage and hospital time. that was supposed to be hidden.

Before you guys try to discredit Ben, I think you should’ve watched more content with Ben and Danny. They did an interview on lightweights podcast that would’ve answered a lot of the questions you guys were asking. It’s almost like you didn’t even watch Ben’s videos. Many people have followed this rabbit hole way prior to Ben. I'm sure are just wanting to see justice for those who have been hurt by this and to prevent anyone being taken advantage of in the future. I'm sure in researching some of this and sifting through some of the unnecessary drama was frustrating but I certainly left the live chat feeling shitty. Bummer

I’ve been in the haunt community for almost 15 years now and mcKamey manor has always been a controversial character. The haunt community is small, and we work hard to get our reputations, he tarnishes that.
I've always been interested in that kinda work.

exactly, i grew up with statesville prison and mckamey's always just been a guy trying to be extreme and being too much. there's nothing to expose that he hasn't exposed himself.
My sister in law ( elementary school teacher by day) has been in the haunt community for 9 or 10 years. It’s taken very seriously, she and her fellow actors feel a good haunt is an art. I have a deep and abiding love for all things horror..and tend to agree.
Guys, Reckless Ben LITERALLY interviewed Russ’ ex wife and she explains how it’s funded, what’s real and not real, etc.
There are not three phases or three properties that is a Russ by lie and that news article you found is not correct. He doesn’t have a property in Huntsville. He only has his trailer and yard in TN.

Reckless Ben is incredible
Waivers are for accidental injuries. Not for negligence.
For example if you go skydiving and you have a heart attack that's on you. Not the company. That's what you're signing away, but if you go skydiving and their equipment is faulty in it breaks that's on them.
Waivers cover the company if there are injuries or medical emergencies that are because of no fault of their own.
If somebody had a heart attack at McKamey Manor he would be covered by the waiver, but if he beats somebody to death that waiver does not cover that.
I think Ben and Danny blocked their channels and basically wiped out their internet presence specifically so Russ didn’t know they were trying to expose him.

Even for the people saying the experience was cathartic for them or enlightening in some way, it still feels tainted to me. Because there's this ever-looming element of it all just being an elaborate ploy for McKamey to get his rocks off. Same goes for the staff and livestream viewers.
It seems like Stockholm syndrome. After he tortures them he says "you did so well and hugs them" and they are so happy it's over and then getting the approval of a man who almost kills them. I'm not sure those exit interviews can even be considered, even if they say it's cathartic. Do they have any say it was cathartic years later? I've never seen that
@@KGmeatball , I think it is less Stockholm Syndrome and more just absolute gaslighting, and them lying out of fear of retaliation. I really doubt those who claimed it was cathartic actually believed that. Especially since we have clear evidence just from the victims in the documentary that many of them lied about enjoying their experience. Or thought it was one thing, but later realized it was another due to all the emotional duress and lingering adrenaline making them react in a fight-or-flight way. We also know Russ coached many of his victims into reacting a certain way about MM.

I think that Ben and Danny kind of got excited and made a few hurried decisions that may have hurt their cause. However, they have taken this further than anyone else ever has. When the litigation and other serious threats come, almost everyone else has backed down. Not Ben and Danny. These guys have balls with planets orbiting them. They had Danny show up dressed as a stripper cop, even knowing the real police were on their way. 😂

I love this channel so much but they missed a ton of evidence about the manor being bullshit…as well as missing the “humor” approach Ben takes. Along with a ton of other things from their episodes that legit damage the whole operation. This one was frustrating to watch knowing the things I know. But, it’s ok to disagree. These things happen.

I’m terms of him working at Walmart. I am a Walmart employee and at least in Canada the benefits make it worth keeping part time even just for a few hours a week. Any decor/ supplies he gets at Walmart he will get a discount on. It’s one of those places where just to work a little so your name stays on the employee list is totally worth it.

Russ is an absolute horrible person and what he’s done to these people and then it finally coming out not just by then but hundreds if not thousands of people backing up his stories and then you guys missed the entire point and believing it’s true is very sad and I’ve noticed a lot of people agree that you’re way off this time it probably didn’t even take a couple hours to get your proof, but didn’t prove anything except people who like and want you guys the most. This is my first time watching lights out (big fan of mile higher). I would not consider this a deep dive considering how many questions had been answered in Ben’s videos that were out before you made this.
Do your homework and rethink this one.
I really appreciate both videos that Lights Out has done on RM and his "attraction". It's definitely a lot of food for thought. From a psychological perspective, though, I think perhaps some aspects have been missed.
RM edits his content, which is something LOP touched on, but I just want to point out that it's possible RM is making things look more socially acceptable. On LOP it was looked at as RM could be making it look worse than it actually is. What if RM is making it look more acceptable, which begs the question: what was too horrible for YT? Like, what did RM himself deem to be too horrible for YT? What does he keep in his private collection? I also wonder if RM's lack of public releases is actually worse. It personally makes me wonder if he's just made MM more elite and private, which isn't exactly a comforting thought. If you think about how people are more socially aware of what is and isn't okay (as in, people are less willing to let things slide nowadays) it could have forced RM to go back underground. I say "back underground" because it's my personal belief that he was previously doing this before it went public. I think he went public in order to capitalize on that "sweet spot" of the internet when it was like the wild west. Now, the more people became "woke", he had to pull it back and be less public.
I think his waiver is intentionally meant to sound ridiculous precisely so RM can point to it and say "c'mon, anyone who bought that is silly", like a form of protection for himself. Same with his experience with Ben and Danny. I think he never had any actual intent to put Ben/Danny through the actual experience, I think he intentionally wanted to mess with them. Think about it like college frat hazing: you have to apply to go through this experience, he digs into you online to find out what makes you tick, he even asks things of you before you even get there (the lady who was asked to get a MM tattoo). It all allows RM to screen people, to see who is willing and able to follow all his instructions. RM quite literally picks, meticulously, the people he brings into his "haunt". I think it's ridiculous to assume that RM wouldn't expect Ben/Danny to come at this from the wrong angle. I think they behaved exactly how he expected them to.This makes the voicemail Ben received psychologically fascinating because Ben is accused of being a sociopath for making people trust him and then lying, but isn't that exactly what RM himself does? But also, it wasn't RM himself leaving that voicemail, it was someone else speaking for him on his behalf, and the voicemail doesn't do anything at all to help RM. I think it's a distraction. Now we're all laughing at the silly voicemail and not looking at RM directly. It's also manipulative because the woman is painting RM as someone who deserves better than the deception Ben/Danny gave him, which totally erases and hides the deception RM himself operates on.
If RM is actually helping people, it's by accident. It's a fluke that exists only because certainly there can be people who could potentially respond well to this level of immersion. However, that's not the norm and I think it's fair to say that's never been RM's intent (to be helpful). This is all my opinion. I think he's hiding in plain sight, I think he's hiding behind the ridiculous waiver, I think he's hiding behind the title of "filmmaker". Let's not forget that one woman did go to the hospital and the hospital called the police because she wouldn't tell them how she got injured, and the police told the woman nothing could be done against RM because of the waiver. It's a misconception that police officers are experts in law. They're not. You would want an actual lawyer to look at the waiver, not a police officer. So, when you're wondering why RM isn't being investigated, there are several factors to consider: People are putting too much weight into the waiver, and certainly RM likely reminds them that they've signed it. Then there's the fact that people have come out of this feeling legitimately tortured, which isn't really conducive to reporting RM. There can be a very real level of fear here that prevents people from reporting him, which is then exacerbated by the waiver. The recorded exit interviews don't help either, because as we saw in RM's long-winded post, he does point to those interviews as some kind of sacred footage that proves everyone had a grand time. All of this creates a lot of pressure on people and could very well make people feel trapped and like they can't report anything. Lastly, it's not uncommon for various law enforcement agencies to keep quiet about investigations. Just because we haven't seen or heard of anything doesn't mean nothing has been looked into or isn't being looked into. Also, just because someone reports something, doesn't mean police will do anything about it (think of all the missing persons cases, for example).

Well I'm eagerly to see what proof Russ provides the Tennessee Attorney General as proof the manor and the 20k exists. Also if a lawyer for Gitmo says people deserve recourse then it's hard to go against that statement. I'm not a legal expert so I'll gladly hear someone who is a legal expert take on the matter.

Seems odd your going so easy on Russ and not giving the derserved props to Reckless Ben for his incredible work and compelling evidence that seems so obvious and straight forward. I've watched Russ since 2013. The haunt in San Diego was dope af, but after Carol took all the props from him and he moved to Tennessee it was no longer a haunt. Doing exercises in the front yard until your body can't do um anymore is not a hant. Russ may have a few little contraptions like a cage but it's a far cry from San Diego

I've watched every McAmey Manor 'Tour' on YT. Does it look like torture? Yes. Do some people have a deep primal need to experience that. I think so.
The videos are highly edited, how do we know that Russ + 'actors' are not seriously threatening participants that they or there life/reputation etc. will come to harm if they say anything bad truly happened.
I've watched a lot of post exit interviews - a few weeks later and most of these participants look awkward and traumatised but say all the right things.
Just sayin.
Plus watching Laurie's face afterwards 😭😭😭 omg I've had a jaw joint replacement surgery done about a month ago and my face was no where near as bad as that poor lady 😢❤

My first and only foray into who this man is and his ventures was you guys’ channel. It’s interesting the turntoeing when you juxtapose this video with your first one. From a journalism lens (since that’s what y’all allege you want to lead with via your critique of the other channel), the first video had a TON of victim blaming, and it would’ve been nice to see THIS deep dive into the waiver in that video instead of 20 minutes of asking why anyone would sign it and laughing at those people. Also, it was interesting seeing the breakdown of the owner in this one as opposed to the last video. In the last video, it was as if he was a raging child abusing psychopath being set loose on the community. But this video presents a very sympathetic lens of an almost sophisticated businessman too smart to reveal the tricks up his sleeve. All in all, both videos are consistent in portraying him as what he is: a weird, lonely old man. But yeah. Just interesting.
