For my plastic cutting boards when they get cuts or stains I spray a bit of bleach on them and let them sit in the sink for 10 mins and then wash them. Then the stains are gone abs they are sanitized. I also have separate ones for cutting veggies and raw meat.

We're getting ready to do a kitchen Reno, so I'm going thru EVERY THING. Do not recommend waiting until it's complete, to declutter. Declutter before you pack the kitchen up. Saves you a TON of stress.

If you get cheese that is sealed already meaning you have to cut the plastic around it to use then do not open it but put in the freezer that way. We have always froze cheese when it goes on sale. It becomes crumbly when thawed but someone suggested freezing it after shredding it which i have never tried. You can also freeze milk if you have some that is close to date and use it for chowders and creamed dishes vs letting it go to waste. Love your channel and thanks for your bright sunny outlook on minimalism

I buy cheese by the block and freeze as is. Defrost on the counter before using to maintain texture. You can a shred before or after freezing.
Shredded cheese from the store contains an ingredient to prevent clumping...made from wood pulp! 😨 Block cheese is also less expensive. 🌞

If you have plastic or wooden cutting boards with cuts. If you have an electric sander like the ones with the round sanding pads you can sand them down to a smooth surface. Cheese freezes just fine, the trick is in the thawing...we used to leave our frozen loaf of cheese on the kitchen counter overnight. In the morning we would put it back in the fridge and my lunch it was perfectly thawed and ready to slice and eat without crumbling. This works super well for basic cheddars & other basic cheeses. The soft cheeses like Brie don't freeze so well and really need to be eaten quickly, and the harder cheeses like parmesan don't usually have issues with mold unless they are left alone for a LONG time. Grated or shredded parmesan or other hard cheeses can be frozen and don't even need to be thawed before using.

@@FancyThatwithCandice so you never cut fat or veiny parts off the chicken? Even if I buy boneless skinless chicken breast there is always something gross I need to trim off!

No offense but why are all of your videos SO BRIGHT? I would watch them but every time I turn on your video it’s like hurting my eyes literally ! Does anyone feel the same way???

The contrast is a little high.

You can just go into “Settings”, then “Display and Brightness”, and adjust the brightness. I do this nightly anyway, as the contrast is too much after dark somehow.

Yes, but I just use the brightness keys on my laptop and lessen the brightness. I have to do it with some videos. Her videos are bright also because everything in her rooms are white or light colored and very bare...or I should say minimalized.

Cut block cheese into slices then freeze, already shredded cheese will be fine.

I freeze cheese in blocks or I grate it. Put it in a ziplock bag and done!

Ditch the vase, just use the pitcher as a vase.

You should always have two sets of tongs...one for raw meat and one for cooked meat to avoid cross contamination.
