Bali Surf Journal - July 2018

I think it's safe to say that the month of July in Bali was one for the history books. Super consistent with major swells, and one of those swells produced waves bigger than most people have ever seen in Indonesia.
I've put together this video of the whole month, with a few previously unseen clips as well. Every break and day featured in this clip has its own individual video, which you can find on this channel.

Thank you for that. It is now officially the heaviest run of swell in Bali's modern history since recording began. 7 swells at or well in excess of the 10 foot mark, and 3 of those withing the space of a week. Absolutely off the scale.

over and over, can't take my eyes off this...starting at 11:23 : the most beautiful ride on a surfboard i've ever witnessed....if he wasn't screaming (at light-speed) from the onset, he would have been swallowed like a fly. must be a local, because he knows this beach so well, and executed perfectly...congratulations, (along with Bali, and with a little help from the Goddess)!.., superb waves, superb ride, superb footage, and superb audio =

25th of July at Uluwatu was one of the most epic swells of the year ....
.. of THE PLANET.
Fortunately there were some worthy humans there to appreciate the gift...
Fuck!! , I'm 58 years old , and beat to death by my obsession with adrenaline , or I would be there...
My spinal column is bashed out of place... have arthritis and bone spurs on my vertebrae.
My right arm was broken in 5 places , and shortened by 1/2 an inch.
Wish I waz there...❤❤❤❤
