And there was I, thinking " okay, how are they going to fabricate that panel?" Ho, ho, shazzam, a prefabricated panel hoves into view .......dear oh dear, you know sometimes I wonder if I AM a sandwich short of a picnic in these matters.......too much watching of CZcams channel 'Dave's Garage' I suspect.

Hi I'm a new subscriber, I've noticed how rotten a lot of uk mk2s are, mines a 400,000+ kilometres french Memphis, no welding incredibly clean shell,just wondering what's the highest mileage golf you've come across? Thanks for the very enjoyable content

My old blue Jetta could was about 250k miles and about 4 years after importing it to the Uk it needed the rear turret’s welded. The salt on the road in the winter here is a killer
