looks good. i did almost the same to my mk2 last summer. the arches them self was not to bad but everything under was terrible. and the frame rails were also gone at the back. and nice to see you got rid of that horrible exhaust :P

Reminds me of doing my RS turbo, on top of the replacement panels I must of used best part of a 2000x1000 sheet of mild and every cereal box in house for templates lol. Doing a great job though, keep it up 👌
Miss my MK2 golf, it was my first car that I got from king’s lynn. It needed a new engine and I was off to uni so it had to go. I wish I’d kept it. Awesome body work skills, I’ve not been brave enough to do any welding on my beetle.
Love watching the video's and actually got to be the 100th liker :) I prefer to use cardboard when making patches but sometimes I use wide masking tape and a pen to get the exact shape it all depends on the patch, BUT I am no expert :(
I tell ya what Beth, that's some good work you have done there, fabricating all the bits to rebuilt an inner wheel arch is not easy. What was the machine you used to bend that small 90* bend, shrinking it so that it curved to fit the lip? Had to laugh at your rusty tea, thought you were just going to remove it and drink on haha
