If you didn't have EoD, and you bought this Unheard thing, what makes you think they won't fuck you over like EoD buyers down the road.
Hiw exactly did EOD get fucked over? The only actual dlc they didn't give them was the pve mode. DLC and in game content is not the same thing.
@@bombaclat9758 dlc = downloadable content. It is by definition EOD. Have fun spending 250 dollars on more pay to win bullshit. By that logic areana is not DLC even though that would make even more sense to be a separate game. Like offline coop when its literally just a copy and paste of the real game is basically a DLC mode.

@bigrig8539 clearly you don't understand what download actually means. You don't download pockets. You do download the PVE version and the Arena version. Hence why I said EOD should be getting it. Pockets and character stats aren't downloaded, they're added to your character on a server. I also don't have an argument if you want to bring up the Melee weapon or the new signal device(which imo should not be in any version of the game that's just actually ridiculous).

The pockets are by far the most egregious thing. You can put 2 x 30 round mags in your pockets now. That's game changing. Enormous advantage.
Agreed - though the 'call to arms' from the friends list doesn't sit well either. Tangential side note - If using the big pockets, it should eliminate some of the clothing options, so we aren't carrying 30 rounders in our skinny jeans. I also wonder how the beacon thingy'd work for the Offline coop - do those players also have to have the Unheard edition or can people on our list be called in regardless of which version they have? Seems strange to keep existing [not upgrading] players off the servers to start but then let anyone be invited, you know!?

Glad I stayed an alpha (container) male and didn't spend money on EoD
I was fine with EoD since they said they would remove all advantages once the game released, and - more importantly - you were supposed to get ALL DLC released afterwards. Made sense since you were giving a fuckload of cash to a game still in development.
Now I'm convinced they'll never release this game. EoD was an open wide scam.

The problem with micro transactions in Tarkov is that it’s a $150 game and I say that because probably more people own EOD than not. Plus the game is still technically in “beta” so many of the systems are buggy and the game doesn’t run particularly well. So them trying to nickel and dime their player base is not a good look. The game is already the price of 2 plus AAA games, they don’t need anymore fucking money.
They do need money to keep the servers and company running... They are just going about this really poorly...
How do you suggest the go about it? Cause those gloves ain't selling .. they HAVE to gate keep content. Also after ARENA that's the conclusion of the EOD promise. Don't be greedy.
"Stay in Tarkov" is a coop-SPT with friends.
$250. I will never convince friends who want a casual experience to get into EFT at that price.
EFT is the wrong game if your friends are looking "a casual experience"; why would you try to tell them that is what this game is??
@@hifiguy77 do you think the pve mode is for normal tarkov players? Who is pve actually for? Seems like a place to ease people in who don't want to learn the systems with the stress of pvp. Most new players in my personal experience just get overwhelmed by the amount of stuff going on.

Spt is free if you have an account. If they are gonna make you pay extra for single player no one is gonna do that. Im sure bsg will go after the developers of spt and they will shut down but that will probably backfire with these new games coming out

@@MosinMan12You're missing the point entirely. This feels like BSG creating an opportunity to cease and desist SPT, as until now it wasn't a competing product, and it currently technically is. SPT isn't "real" Tarkov. And every one of its users knows that. There's a reason why it exists, and people play it for a variety of reasons. Not being able to follow the wipe cycle, the piece of mind of no cheaters, tweaks to the game, almost complete overhauls of the game, SPT can be basically anything. The modding community has torn the code inside out to do all of that.

The one thing that bothers me is that arena is a separate mode but free to EOD owners, because it’s a dlc. There new game mode is a dlc but now they want us to pay 100 more to get what they advertised and promised to all EOD purchasers. They are defrauding all EOD owners.

How does this new mode differ from the offline co-op mode we have in EOD?

They took what could have been a huge win for introducing SP/Coop into - this. They bottled it.
if the unheard edition isn't a dlc yet contains future dlcs as was promised with EOD, what would a future dlc look like???
The "future DLC" content as far back as 2019 was promised as a minimum of two expansion maps to be released after the full 1.0 launch. The really sad part is Giga (and all the other streamers farming views by fanning the flames) know this. Yes some don't like the P2W slippery slope (but it is no different than EoD), and BSG handled the backlash so poorly that it has caused a whole set of problems of its own.
@@hifiguy77 i think if that was the case then i.e. light keeper or future in game traders should be on said maps to offer further progression for those who have purchased the dlc variants of the game. Its not fair that base gamers essentially get the same experience bar a few quality of life improvements i.e larger stash and gamma, which doesn't affect the overall gameplay and determine who wins pvp fights. I imagine with having maps locked behind a paywall would exacerbate the issues with loading times and match making, i can't see this as a feasible option for a dlc. Its not at all sad that giga and all the other streamers are outraged and making content on this as they represent the community which they have built up and reflect their views its no different to having an MP representing the views of their community. Its reasonable the community is outraged and for you to stand by bsg is absurd, in my opinion.

Imean tarkov is a real grind to play anyways the amount of time it takes just to level your traders to a decent level is rediculous its filled with tedious tasks that require you to use guns or gear you dont want to use all wipe these quests eat up the overall experience of just running whatever you found/want to run !

If they made the offline mode a mode to buy in its own I would buy it. There is more money to BSG without bullshit.
I really think this is why most people are so butt hurt. If BSG had made the new edition $199 and sold the PVE standalone game separately for $29.99; they would have been very little blow back and BSG would have made bank. Very poor marketing on their part; though I do not have an issue with high priced limited editions as long as it isn't game breaking.

The p2w stuff is (and has always been) gross af, but the DLC shennagins is straight up illegal. If you bought EOD they owe you all future content, that's literally what they sold and what you paid for. Everything else is just quibbling over degrees of trashy business practise.

Somewhat saw this coming.. arena flopped. They keep saying how they cant do certain things because of the limitation of the software they built the game on.. they are probably bleeding money in russia and need some quick cash. This is a move someone makes when they know the end is coming
Arena flopped because they haven't connected the two games together. Once arena can connect to regular tarkov and I can start trading money over then it's going to be way better

This is for sure the RAT pack . Sit in a bush 80m away from scave spawns and they won't react. Along comes player and starts to fight the scaves.
For the guy that was asking on the video how is BSG going to make money if they don't put anything else up to buy you could put purely cosmetics as a microtransaction and they will make plenty of money

Im praying the outrage is so severe that they have no choice but to give the PvE mode too all EOD accounts and make it its own purchase. We have to vote with our wallets and time invested.
Can access to PVE servers really be classed as DLC? I think not.

@@mingmongmang but scavs still beam me from afar and I can't let my friends reenter the raid. The new items with the new edition are crazy. Scavs don't shoot from 60+ meters at you, and you can call in your friends to enter mid raid.
But yes. A bigger secure container is also pay to win. I'd like them to get rid of secure containers and just have a secure slot for quest items like the markers and keys. Also insurance should be removed too.
@@Aruhito_0 The new radio is dog sh!t... Scavs don't stop shooting at you until you reach scav level 6; it weighs you down an extra .5 kg, takes up a "spec" slot, causes you to lose scav rep if shoot a scav before being shot by them, and cuts the experience you get for killing all scavs in half making it FAR harder to level up. The only positives are that distant scav won't aggro you as soon and the car extracts cost half, which amounts to nothing really (like maybe 100k over the whole wipe). The big pockets & automatic level 3 skills are a definite advantage but not game breaking at all.

@@everythingpony Brother a feature list on a website is not a contract. If you can site where in the TOS it says you're entitled to this then go talk to a lawyer. You have a case. Otherwise you're hosed, especially in the US.
why do you even still have this game installed? you chose to put all your eggs in one basket, going full-time with a single game, now the eggs are all broken. stop trying to fix them, you can't. throw them out, move on.
PVE content should be free for everyone and the EOD accts should get all the new dlc stuff on top

We Should also just boycott the servers. Our wallets and server numbers are the only things that will get through to them.
