I love this show so much. I was so sad when it got taken off Netflix and Amazon. I used to play a random episode to fall asleep to as it was that comforting.
Poppy was brilliant. I mean the actor who played her, may have outdone the writers' expectations. I don't think she gets enough applause for the sheer volume of words she was expected to spew in a short time. 😂😂😂😂 I loved her!!
In a lot of sitcoms there's a tendancy for the missing mum trope. Basically a sitcom revolving around a family where the mother is dead. The Mum was dead in this one too but they never forgot her. That scene proved that it really did hurt the family still that she died and not just mentioned in passing.
Wonderful series that paved the way for "situations" that were not focused on "getting money" and rarely about straightforward "getting the girl". Intelligent, successful protagonists that still had problems we could relate to. Smart dialog, and lots of interaction with the world around them. Bravo!
It's certainly one of the only comedies, if not THE only comedy, that advanced the characters and could deliver that heartfelt, serious moment without it feeling inorganic.
I absolutely LOVE this show! When I was in a horribly abusive marriage, this show was my escape ❤ I watched it over and over, even slept listening to it.... it's been said that people who deal with anxiety do this because you know the outcome and it calms your anxiety. 🤔☺️
@Ru22eLL Ah, you can find them on CZcams for a start. It's been in syndication for years, check your local stations. Usually at night and in the wee hours.
Yep. A prolonged coyote or wolf howl, or even worse a chorus of them, especially when you are alone at night, and outside by your car---yipes! I can tell you from experience, is terrifying. The sudden adrenaline dump makes it quite unpleasant too.
Whenever I hear someone say the word veneer I instantly shout veneer back at them. Nobody gets it, I come off looking weird but it always has to be done! LOL
There were more than a few bonding episodes in the series. The "Veneer" scene reminds me of the Ice Fishing episode. Then there were those quiet, pensive moments like the three men silently watching their mother/wife in an old video tape and the three Crane men on the balcony on a Saturday night without being in relationships. When most sitcoms interject a depth their typical frame work never did, it feels off -- manipulative in some cases. But Frasier dealt with heavy matters in a brilliantly humorous way (starting with Frasier's phone call to a listener where he describes his old life that didn't fit any more) and it had its characters grow that these special moments hit the mark and feel totally comfortable within the confines of the show's own universe. I'm trying to imagine the show if Niles remained anal-retentive in a loveless marriage, Daphne remained eccentrically psychic and Martin remained crotchety with none of the characters becoming fleshed out characters whose interactions with Frasier remained stagnant. Frasier would have probably been a two or maybe a three season series at best, despite funny writing. The depth is one of its strongest attributes.
I know it's the set-up for Daphne's "don't mind if I do" but the suggestion of Bloody Mary still irritates me. "With Her Head Tucked Underneath Her Arm" is about Anne Boleyn. Mary 1st wasn't beheaded.
@@blurry67 Number 10 is my favourite out of All of them...... Niles is Daphne's true love 💘 She saw it in one of her visions. So glad they got together in the end.
when life went to shit this was my go to to have a laugh at something ,because shit happens!! we need something to lift our moods out of the doldrums !!!
The all too obvious shock value of which "Dr. Crane" has crushed on "Miss Daphne Moon" for seven years when all finally sinks in on "Daphne" is the unforgettable pivot in the Show's History. And then consider that She seems to have the relaxed "Frasier" at Her mercy as he's being "mass aged!" Stunningly brilliant Writing by The Staff and Depiction by both Kelsey Grammer and Miss Jane Leeves with ironies worthy of O. Henry himself!🤔😉🎤👨🎓💃☕☕📻📺B.W.

I wonder if Roz & fraiser should have ended up together. They were great friends and had great chemistry. Idk if that would have been great or them settling. Maybe they are just better as friends. I know its a show but if there not still friends in the reboot idk if there's hope for any of us.
Okay, I’ll bite. There are several of these videos under this name (Frasier Pills, Season #) and countless other ones of Frasier clips. I loved this show and the many clips here including the “Pills” videos. What exactly is a Frasier ”pill?” Thanks.
Daphne's song at 6.33 tell not about Mary Tudor aka Bloody Mary. The song is about Anne Boleyn!! King Henry VIII's second wife who got her head chopped off!!
They both thought they were after the same woman, when in fact they both wanted a diffetent one. So when they toast the 'one' woman and each says the name of the woman they really wanted (Poppy and Regan) they realise they were not rivals in love.

Bought the entire series on dvd.
Fasten your seatbelt, Daphne. Fasten your, Niles. I love those two lines.
I love the storyline of Daphne and Niles! Such passion and love! ❤❤❤
It's timeless.
The UK has the whole lot on constant circle from 9.30-10.30am everyday of week Monday to Friday. Seen every episode 10times lol
Can't beat double Fraser everyday on channel 4 👌🏾
@Mori-no Samurai it was really good!!
You say that like it's a bad thing lol
Now I have a reason to get up in the morning!
They've had that slot on channel 4 for more than 10 years , even longer I think
That one audience members reaction when Niles told Daphne he loved her.
low key me when I first watched it
"A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make 'em biscuits!"
That first time Daphne called him Niles. Big moment. I love this show.

Agreed. I know some people didn't like her, but I thought she was hilarious. How everyone else reacted to her was great too. Especially Daphne.
@@darth856 her character was annoying but the actress did great

Me too. Reminds me of watching old footage of my mother who was lost way too soon.

I loved how they mentioned Hester all the time and constantly spoke of her. Usually dead female characters are forgotten and never spoken of again.
" She said she loved a man who collected porcelain and Oh my God Im dating a whore! " Haha

03:44 perhaps the most pivotal moment in the show
so great that Frasier is the catalyst. Perfect actually.

Best show ever written , best actors, best writers ever.
It's certainly one of the only comedies, if not THE only comedy, that advanced the characters and could deliver that heartfelt, serious moment without it feeling inorganic.
Momma Mia will always be my favourite episode. That simple silence at the end.
The moment when Martin first sees Mia, thinking it’s Hester, is very moving.
Of all the shows that did the “will they, won’t they” this did the best at keeping it interesting after they got together
Disagree. Everything was worse after that.
Not really. That was the end of the show as far as I was concerned. With occasional classic episodes but for all
Intent and purposes. It was over.
Didn’t they start dating in season 7?
@@HunterPhenomMakoy season 8. Which was the start of the weakest seasons of Frasier.

Best sitcom ever, so clever! I'm a Brit and love Friends too. Best of Brit humour is "Only Fools and Horses." Amazing writing and acting.
Seeing Marty's wife made me cry because we could all feel his loss.

I forgot about that one.... Rita Wilson. What a fantastic tv show!!
“Fasten yours, Niles.”
This show is on hulu now. 5.99 a month. Still watch it over and over again. Great medicine, love it!!!
