To me, DHP is the funniest physical comedian of the last 30-40 years. He can make you laugh with just an expression on his face. The extended Valentines Day scene with the iron and the fire extinguisher is the funniest thing I've ever seen.
0:46 Quite possibly my favourite Niles and Daphne moment. They’re just so at ease with each other. The music, the setting, the 7 year journey to get there that makes it all the more satisfying. It’s just a wonderful moment. And that little giggle from Niles is adorable.
Niles is funnier than Frasier, really. But they need each other. David Hyde Pierce was born for slapstick. Also this has me still in tears of laughter after 25 or 30 years.
It's really hard to say because there were many times that Frasier made me piss my pants of laughter. Niles is more slapstick but Frasier getting caught in scenarios and his impatience is just as funny. Just like Cheers, it's hard to say who's the funniest.
Niles was the funniest character! David Hyde Pierce did a great job! If you watch his best moments you'll notice that Frasier and Marty were always smiling with a look of admiration after his delivery
The episode with Derek Jacobi was one of the best! I forgot about the episode with Rene Auberjenois. He and Kelsey had one of the best scenes that was ever done on tv.
I cant believe people say the show wasn't as good once niles and daphne got together. Even tho its a show characters have to grow and change. The change in niles, dhp did a great job. He was still his quirky self but relaxed qnd happy. If they wouldn't have gotten together the show wouldn't have been as great.
Once they were together was great, but Daphne being oblivious for years and then suddenly going "Yes I am madly in love with him too," the moment she found out? I just didn't buy it and I found it really annoying.
"Niles" shot the Ball the very same way that "Richie Cunningham" did on a "Happy Days" Episode. And "Richie" of course was imitating the Free Throw Style of NBA Legend Rick Barry himself!😂😏🎤🏀B.W.
Ah yes, the season that demonstrates exactly how NOT to write around an actress' pregnancy. I like the writers for the most part, but this was uncalled for.
Jane said the reason was she put on a lot of weight very quickly and it also showed in her face. it would have so obvious she was pregnant so it was decided to pretend she had put on weight. She actually wore a fat suit to make her look bigger not just pregnant.
@@patriciabyrne5089 Oh really? Well that makes sense now. I too never liked that idea of her character getting hugely large. But now knowing this it makes more sense.
They wrote in that she was stress eating. I thought it was kinda well thought. They didn’t make fun of her for it like Monica’s weight in Friends. I mean…pregnant women out on weight. I suppose they could have ignored it but then she would have been gone because of just having had the baby. So they wrote in that she was stress eating then she needed to be sent to a therapy camp basically and that explained her abscence. Then she came back 🤷🏽♀️
@@RoseGarden86 It's a comedy show. And you have to admit the Crane brothers comes off quite quirky. 90% of the comedy in the show is people misunderstanding them.
Frasier talking to Lilith....the "I love you" part...damn...always gets to me...

Yes!!!! That's my favorite too!!!❤😂😂😂😂
The scene when he burns the couch to cinders pressing his trossers lolol
Yup.We call it “ NILES FIRE”
This show got me through my divorce. Excellent!!
hope everything is okay sire/madam
Me too!! It got me through an abusive marriage and then a divorce ❤
Same!
"I am from a small village in Tibet" Such a player's line.
The scene at 7:16 where Marty comes to the wine club and make Frasier and Niles stop their hassle is so hilarious.
Marty is their Dad, and we all know how Dad's are.
When kids respected their fathers 😑 Even as adults.
Frasier in the diner at Christmas always makes me cry, so touching

Love them both. And yes after that many years still makes me laugh

I never get tired of watching Frasier!
Bless this cast love them all!
Edit: bless the writers aswell
this just gets better and better never a dull moment love u all thanks
I love how they wrote jane leeds weight gain for her pregnancy was just Daphne getting fat. Hysterical.
But it’s such a well written reason and it works well with Niles’ obsession and Daphne’s fear
When Niles says she’s lost “9 lbs 12 oz” or whatever, Leeves had just given birth and that was the weight of her baby. So cute.
#21 "GET OFF YOUR @$$ & GET A PEN" 🤣🤣🤣

This show was such a good spin off ….great writers
Indeed
Love the face Niles makes when he makes the basket with the Sonics ❤❤❤
7:46 one of my favorite Daphne & Niles scenes!!! The chemistry they have is wonderful!!❤❤❤
Clare was perfect for Frasier it's so disappointing it didn't work out 😔
Right?!
Utterly brilliant! Timeless and wonderful!
I'm loving these pills 💊😍
WHERE'S EDDIE?? OH MY GOD EDDIE!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Even just reading the line makes me laugh! xD
LOL. Just seeing it now -- I'm surprised the neighbors didn't complain
Priorities, right?! 😂
@Barry Dillard OMG😂😂😂😂
4:40 truly epic

@@xxwhispersxx2856I thought Daphnes character became a C**t after she got with Niles , always whining and bossy
8:43 introducing the son of Sideshow Bob
ROFL! Yes!!!! :)
The rooftop date.....
3:57 they didn't work her pregnancy into the script so they improvised! Lol
#12 I make the same noise due to struggling to catch my breath whenever I watch this one.
Daphne Niles w/ her silly family should of got their own spin off
I agree!!!! :)
Odo lied, he came to earth in the 1900s, made a life, became a psychiatrist and got it on with Roz 😜respect Odo
Syd Barrett of the Pink Floyd from Manchester
The lady lawyer looks like Jodie Foster
Am I the only one who had to google Tenzing Norgay? 😂
Yes😂
when can we get the "niles being a giga chad" compilation?!
They can't upload every clip with niles in it
That would be a long time
what is a chad?
someone explain

the original jim and pam
Hmmm, tasty, but needs more Eddie.
The dog Moose' was better than some Actors.
0:00 🥰
….. omg at 8:40… isn’t that Sideshow Bob????
derek jacobi?
Yep👍
He loved being in that episode as he got to do crap acting.
Do you need to make a show of Daphne and Nyles now
WHERE'S EDDIE???
Whats with you and "daybreak?"
If people could see past certain superficialities, the world would need less lawyers!
Niles just comes across as ragingly gay; i.mpossible to buy the whole Daphne thing
Jesus I'd forgotten all the fat jokes about Daphne in early season 8, considering she has as high a BMI as the main character...eew
The early 2000s were AWFUL for women's body image
Jane Leeves was pregnant IRL at the time but I wish they had handled that better.
One thing I do not accept about Fraiser.
They equate alcohol
with happiness !

Niles and Daphne together - not the highpoint of the show in my opinion...
Agreed. It never made sense to me that all those years she didn't know Niles has feeling for her. Girls always know if a guy is attracted to them

Daphne being so oblivious and then suddenly falling for Niles when she knew he loved her fell so flat in my opinion.
