Works pretty good
We use to do this back in the mid 80's ,
You can also sand and clear coat them with a high UV clear , Will last for years.
@@keithclark486 I cleared a set on my blue dodge- doesn't look near as good, & actually yellowed them a little

That stuff in a spray bomb is junk , Urethane clear with harder , highsolids
Last up to 7 to 8 years.
