Carver County Sheriff Jason Kamerud, in accordance with MN law, will be releasing information about Daniel York Drill-Mellum, a level 3 predatory offender registrant. This individual has been convicted of a sex offense that requires registration with the Carver County Sheriff’s Office. Mr. Drill-Mellum is scheduled for release on September 29, 2020, and will be residing near MN Hwy. 7 and County Road 155 in Watertown Township, MN.
This information is not provided to increase fear, but rather as a public safety precaution. The following efforts are encouraged to reduce risk:

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, standard methodologies of sharing public information have been impacted. In-person notification meetings create a public health risk. The Carver County Sheriff’s Office will work with the MN Department of Corrections and victim advocate groups to prepare a video providing the necessary community notification and educational information. The video will include frequently asked questions, as well as citizen questions/comments.
