Thank you so much for this conversation with Martha Beck! I usually don't listen to/view your podcast when I'm low on energy, because I really want to get all the info, but today I did. I listened to all of it in one go and while listening and now I feel energized and at peace. I've listened to so many hours of your content and interviews, but this conversation was really special. I feel strangely touched by it (goosebumps!) , which is not normal for my science oriented mind. Thank you both for being so open and vulnerable. I hope you both live long and prosper in all of your endeavors
Andrew, if you're seeing this, I want to thank you for this particular episode. I've been a regular consumer of your podcast for long and when that ugliness online happened I was outraged and quite disgusted at how people were treating you. The fact that you continue to bring yourself with equal or more love, MORE vulnerability, MORE Openness and display an entirely unconditional dedication to no-cost education for people like me...... this makes you one of my personal heroes. I've always marveled at your knowledge and your teaching method and to learn that you're a top person too just makes it all so much more meaningful for me. Big thanks always. Taking notes always.
"Let me fall... the one I will become will catch me!" - stunningly poigniant. Thank you both for taking the time to do this interview. What a beautiful human connection to witness.
I was at the edge of my seat this whole episode while watching it on TV. I cannot believe we reached a point where we're talking about this openly, and on a neuroscience podcast! Humanity is going somewhere exciting and awesome very soon and I am so excited to witness it and feel it.
Hi Andrew...I live in Pakistan...in a very small village where even electricity is not proper..mobile signals are dependent on luck...but I am blessed to be student of professor at Stanford..may God bless you with your endeavors..I really appreciate the way you work for spreading best knowledge available to you...lots of prays..
I'm a huge fan Andrew. And as 45 year old Christian man with a very sketchy, violent, and drug filled past, I just want to say this. I've never heard of Dr Beck before playing this video, and I will never forget her name henceforth. What an amazing woman! I can relate with almost every angle she came from, and almost every turn the this conversation took correlated with my experience in my own life and growth and healing. Amazing amazing amazing. Keep doing what you're doing. It is incredibly beneficial.
I can definitely agree with you on that, this podcast has introduced me to so many new people whose name and wisdom will forever be etched into my mind. God bless you.
Martha enabled me to leave a very long unhappy marraige 12 years ago. She’s such an authentic soul. Im now very careful about who I let into my life but I’m never lonely. Through their podcasts Martha and Rowan keep me connected with my true self. My relationships are better and I am finally happy in my own skin. Finding Martha was like coming home.
My FAVORITE podcast yet! it was so incredible to see Huberman being so vulnerable, free, open, funny - it really seemed like he wasn't worry about judgement. he seemed sooooo comfortable with Dr. Beck which is just a testament to how special she must be! such a smart woman!
Andrew!!! Thank you for reminding me how amazing, intelligent and inspiring Martha Beck is. My respect for YOU grows and grows as you continue to provide the highest quality education for our entire Beings. Thank you for sharing your heart, mind and soul with us. It’s an honor to be here.🌻
Please remember the text below: That was, without a doubt, the most authentic, powerful, and resonant conversation I have had the privilege of listening to in as long as I can remember. Thank you, Dr. Huberman, for not only beautifully facilitating that conversation, but also making it so much richer by sharing your own experiences, challenges, and growth. And thank you to Dr. Beck for being such a beacon of light, hope, and authenticity. I can't thank you both enough for this conversation and the clarity it has brought to my life already. I've been looking for an epiphany or breakthrough during what has been a bit of a challenging stretch, and I believe you both just provided it. Thank you both for everything you do.
Only 15min in, and I already have to say that Dr's guidance thru the perfect day exercise is incredibly helpful....she clarified some elements I didn't even realize I'd understood inaccurately.... it's not the "perfect, ideal day", it's "an ordinary day in your perfect life"....HUGE difference with this adjustment alone, both in the visualization and the story formatting.....so helpful to hear her coaching in real time 👍👍
Psychedelics are just an exceptional mental health breakthrough. It's quite fascinating how effective they are against depression and anxiety. Saved my life.
Can you help with the reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. Very hard to get a reliable s0urce here in Australia. Really need!
Yes, blizmyco. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.
Martha Beck is one of the wisest peope I know. Her teachings literally saved my life, and her kindness and vision showed me the way back home to my true self. Thank you for inviting her to your wonderful platform, dear Andrew! May many people heal because of this.
One of the greatest podcast episodes ever , so engaging and real, and it's really great and refreshing to see this side of Andrew Huberman and Dr Martha Beck is just a real gem❤❤❤
Andrew is really coming into his own and increasingly showing his authentic self on the podcast. We're here for the science, but we are also here for you Dr. Huberman! I love the integration of evidence based protocols with lived experience and creative expression.
This episode felt the most connecting and the most heartwarming that you and your team have ever done, Dr. Huberman. Thank you for continuing to provide hope and inspiration for people to show up as the best version of themselves in this world. Thank you very much.
Andrew, I have been watching your podcast for at least 3 years, highly recommended by a client. I absolutely love it! As a wellness practioner, I eat this stuff up! It's my passion and my vocation.❤This interview in particular compelled me to comment. Your kindness and sincerity to Dr. Martha was so pronounced. I could feel you using the time with her to connect to some of your own difficulties and it was inspiring and uplifting. Many men lack vulnerability and your willingness to open up, share feelings and engage this way was truly admirable. I hope you continue to share this side of you. And more importantly, self-preservation and self-love.....for ALL of us! 🥰🥰 Thank You!
Dr. Huberman, at risk of coming off like a fan-girl (woman, actually) I want to tell you how much I appreciate you. I just got back from my morning walk during which I finished listening to this episode with Martha Beck, whom I also follow and deeply appreciate. I first heard you when my oldest friend ("since we were born!" we say) recommended your podcast to me a couple of years ago. The first episode I heard was the one on nicotine and since then I have been hooked . On nicotine. (Kidding.) I texted my since-born friend telling her that I thought I was in love. The brains get me. I am wildly impressed by your rigor, commitment, enthusiasm, and curiosity. What inspired me to "leave a comment" (and I don't recall doing this before, in any case) was the additional humanity and vulnerability you showed on this one. And I could relate to a lot of what you said about relationships - and a few other things, too. I started to feel a pull toward reaching out to say something, but you clinched it with the pigeons. I love them too, and most people find this quirky (But I don't care!)! I lived in NYC for a while, and spent a lot of time observing them (and writing haiku about them, as it were.) Keep doing what you're doing, and whomever you end up finding, breathing softly next to you in your future mountain home (even if it's just another bulldog) will be a lucky lady (or dog), no doubt. With gratitude, Sarah
I needed to come to CZcams just to write this comment Dr.Huberman throughout the years you have interviewed so many amazing people who have shared so much valuable information, but I need to thank you for inviting and introducing us to this amazing soul. I will definitely be watching Dr. Beck’s podcast again. Only this interview and Dr.Lembeke have compel me to come watch instead of listen. Thank you for creating this wonderful channel.
Just put my Doggo, my Best Friend to sleep after 14 years together. It was august 8th. Start listening to this podcast and of course they talk about dogs. And i thought im going crazy with my loss. But its actually nice to know Andrew And Martha hard similar thoughts even a few years after their pet passings. And as always, thanks for all your work, mr. Huberman.
This is the first podcast I have ever seen in one go end to end. It is so incredible to hear you both talk about relationships, eastern knowledge, truth and love. I was hooked. Dr. Martha Beck is an incredible person, I have learned so much about myself and about the world from this interview. Thank you so much for this video.
I did not expect to enjoy being a fly on the wall for this one as much as I did. It kept coming up in my feed and i kept brushing it aside. I absolutely loved it. I am male, 50 , and in recovery from booze and oxy for about 9 months now; a new personal best as, at around 8 months, i start to think i have it under control and try to pull off the " i can have just one " trick. For anyone suffering a similar delusion, it boils down to understanding that i cannot have the first one. Ever. Big up Huberman Lab Crew! Bless 🙏📿✌️☯️🌷❤️🕉🙏
Congratulations on your progress 🙌 Not in the same league, but I’m 2 months off a horrendous 2.5 year taper off antidepressants. Every day that passes represents success, for me and you! 🥳
@@lyndarandall189 hi thanks for asking ☺️ I still have good days and bad days, but my brain is definitely working better without the ADs 👍 I was prescribed Citalopram and what I desperately needed (but didn’t realise) was HRT, as I was in peri menopause. It just made me feel much worse, but I mistakenly thought it was ‘my anxiety’ intensifying. Horrendous stuff, and yet they prescribe it to children!

Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really loved him so much I can’t stop thinking about him, I’ve tried my very best to get him back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of him, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss him and just can’t stop thinking about him
its difficult to let go of someone you love, i was in a similar situation, my relationship of 12 years ended, but i couldnt just let him go i did all i could to get him back, i had to seek the help of a spiritual counselor who helped me bring him back.
Thank you for this valuable information, i just looked him up now online. impressive Wow I just looked Father Obah Eze on the net he’s very legit thanks once again ❤
There was a really special quality to this episode. It felt like being allowed to listen to a conversation between two friends. The mutual respect, enjoyment of one another's company, and compassion for one another was palpable in this episode. It felt like you were both free to just be genuinely yourselves and to enjoy the moment, and it gave this episode a really great emotional quality that I'm still just soaking in and appreciating. This episode was awesome, thank you both.
Martha’s been a huge influence in my life as well, and it was a life-changing experience to spend time with her at her African STAR retreat in June. I’m just so thrilled that the two of you sat down for this incredible conversation. (and I just *knew* you were on ‘The Team’ she’s long spoken of! ❤️) I do believe there’s hope for humanity if we open more conversations like this one. Thank you Andrew for bringing her to your audience, and for nurturing these kinds of conversations. It’s beautiful to see ❤
Andrew, Andrew, Andrew. I have no words...I've seen a side of you that only made me respect you more than I already did. Martha has a way of bringing that out in people, but the person has to be open. You are open. Thanks for this. I loved everything about it.
This is one the best interviews I’ve listened to in a longtime. I spent my entire Life always gave more and I have two dogs and alone. I am much happier and healthier. ❤
so cute when he said talking to martha beck was in his "perfect day". i shed a tear. so wholesome. I know I'm going to like this episode. (listening to huberman on a rainy monday morning is part of my perfect day)
This conversation was and will be life changing for me. When Martha shared her experience during surgery .. "This is how you should be feeling ALL the time" ... ❤❤❤
This episode made me feel all the feelings. Dr. Martha Beck is a true gem. Wow. Best podcast ever. Being vulnerable is the way. Being truthful is the way. Integrity is the way.
Thank you having Dr. Beck on! Love her!! I married the love of my life last year 3/23/23 in Hawaii (the most magical week of my life). One of our vows was “Do you both promise to take responsibility for your own happiness”💙💙💙 Traditional wedding vows are garbage😂
@@MarionMM Thanks for your kindness!! 💙💙💙 Have the day and the life you deserve! I can only imagine how spectacular it must be, based on our brief interaction here🤣😘
OH MY GOD! This is like science meets psychology meets philosophy meets sophistication and curiosity I love this curious and honest exchange between these wonderful people. I didnt know what to expect and now it is one of my favorite Hubermanlabs podcast! The thing that she mentions about seeing in a child’s eye is what i have ways noticed about seeing in Andrew’s eyes but i couldn’t explain it. He has the eyes of a curious child!
One of the most important lessons I've learned in my life, and what Martha reinforces in this podcast, is that we have zero control over someone else's emotions or emotional reactions. As I have slowly let myself open up and express my own needs I find that those around me might be disappointed or upset, but if real love is there they will eventually come to terms with their own feelings and see me in a new light. It does change the relationship, but in my experience it's for the better. Thank you for this episode!
The degree to which you make yourself vulnerable, AH, invites us all to do the same. Your guest today was delightful, joyful, smart; I realize I have work to do (in many areas of my life) but thanks to your open hearted discussion, look forward to that work.
I was particularly touched by how Dr. Huberman is able to embrace his vulnerability and talk openly-though without unnecessary scandal-about his own journeys and the things he wants to improve in his life. It’s an excellent example for us all: you can be intelligent, brilliant, and successful, yet still be humble and openly acknowledge that you haven’t mastered all aspects of your life. His approach to continuously pursuing personal growth is truly inspiring. Regarding topics I’d like Dr. Huberman to cover in his podcast, I would love to see an episode (or even a series of episodes) related to pets, especially dogs. Why do we love them so much? What happens in our brains when we see or think about our dogs? What were the co-evolutionary mechanisms that produced this special relationship between dogs and humans? What are the scientifically proven benefits of owning dogs? Are there any drawbacks?
I can see I am not the only one that found this particular episode very special. It is very refreshing when people show their vulnerability and realness the way you and Dr. Martha Beck did in this episode. Beautiful. Thank You for all that you do, it’s very much appreciated 🙏
Andrew, this, hands down, has been the most beautiful and transformational podcast I have watched/listned to ever. And I consume probably 4 a week, every week, for at least 10 years. I will admit that I had some recoil to a handful of things that Martha said and yet her explanation of the compassionate witness and having and attuning to integrity in the body, I was able to uncover deep information about my values and beliefs and now have a stepping stone to learning more about myself. Your candid honesty, her authenticity, and your palpable connection with each other were, by themselves, informative and healing. I am quite fond of her and will look much deeper into her work. Might I suggest looking into Dr. Joe Dispenza's and collegues research on the magnetic and electrical nature of heart-brain coherence. His work talks a TON about the light, the "home" and the integrity that Martha speaks about. He also teaches breathing techniques, whicb obviously you know a TON about. Bless you Andrew. Truly, you are a lighthouse for many people.
Dear Dr Huberman, I wait for your episodes weekly on Spotify, today I listened to this episode twice on Spotify, but I had to watch the video on CZcams, because I wanted to see the facial expressions, the happiness and vulnerability that are heard in the conversation, they are so beautiful, I wanted to see the reflection of your voices on images. Thanks for this episode. Saludos de Chile
Thanks Martha and Andrew for making me feel like it is okay to listen to your true self, your authentic self and being in alignment with your authentic self sets you free. That when I feel this isn’t right for me, I have to honor it. I must honor it to truly experience life and my best self for others. Like lifting the veil…. I agree with her, that we truly don’t know what the afterlife will be. No religion can answer that and that is okay to admit. This conversation really shed light on our purpose on the planet in so many ways and how to know you are on the right path. The idea of meeting feelings of suffering with self compassion that will allow you to show love and compassion for others is something I will work towards and this conversation gave me the blueprint. I will definitely read more from Dr. Beck! Thanks for the introduction, Andrew and for your radical openness Dr. Beck!
I came back here to say…. After listening to this I started reading North Star and Martha Beck is remarkable in her depth and connection…she connects and communicates so deftly. I can see reason for Huberman’s admiration and it’s very cool to see this side of him here. I’m paused.
Andrew, what a once in lifetime podcast! The connection and beyond the words understanding between the two of you are so beautiful! Thank you for showing your vulnerability for other men to see it's ok to do it. And your analysis of punk rock and its inclusiveness is spot on! I love it too❤ I'll never look at you the same way again as, I believe , I've seen the most authentic version of you. 🙌
Up till this episode, Andrew Huberman’s podcast was my number 1 learning tool. I accidentally tuned into this episode this morning cos I lost my way and needed something good to listen to, and it saved my day. I’m very sure, the light I followed after will change my life as well. Thank you so much❤
Please Please Please bring on Antonia Dodge. After listening to Dr.Beck, Antonia Dodge would complement her discussions so much. Antonia Dodge is a true master in systems thinking and has many great insights on persona, ego, and Self. Antonia Dodge is a brilliant master of her craft and I believe this is an area many of the listeners could derive great benefits from. Please bring Antonia Dodge to the show!
This is so Awesome!!! I’m a Martha Beck certified coach, I had also long benefit from all her teachings, had changed my life, and that of those around me. Love you guys!!! ❤️❤️Thanks for doing all your work for improving the lives of soooo many people ☺️
I must admit I can’t do 2+ hours episode even if I love the authors, and I love HubermanLab both who I see and whom I don’t get to. But this episode absorbed every bit of attention..
Got to the end and I am compelled to comment twice. Laughter is a very accurate reflex to honesty and the joy of truth. This was a sincerely very genuine, brave, fun, and wall breaking conversation, Dr. Huberman. Bravo to you both!
I love that this is an extremely vulnerable conversation between 2 human beings, talking about their experiences, and being completely honest with themselves!
Just finished this podcast and came here to tell you that this was FAR AND AWAY the best episode I’ve listened to. I became an avid follower after a friend sent me your alcohol episode. Just incredible light. I’ll follow up in a few years if this ends up being true, but it feels like my life has changed significantly.
Listened on Spotify, watched once here and just about to watch again! In less than 24h. Thanks Andrew for being true to yourself! Your laugh after “better, batter and better”, and “going to hell” was delighted to hear, even more to watch! This is why every episode makes your podcast even better!
What a stupendous meaningful conversation between two beautiful souls! And wow! First time I've heard of Dr. Beck and after listening to that I'm smitten! Brilliant, funny, silly, kind, compassionate - she glows with a very discernible energy that draws one in like a moth to a flame.
This is one of my favorite episodes of this podcast EVER. To be honest I didn't know who Martha Beck was! I'm so glad to know her thanks to you Andrew!
Dr. Beck might be my favorite guest on your podcast. That’s saying a lot, as you have had many truly wonderful and/or accomplished people. And I admit, I did not know who she was before this episode. But I was immediately drawn in, and knew right away she was going to be someone I would never forget. I was one of your early subscribers, as I was following you even before the podcast. I have listened to every episode at least once, and I listen as soon as they come out. This one was truly special. Thank you.
Sick of these spam sales comments on every vid now. If someone recommends you look into something vague and its top comment by likes with little interaction its a new type of bot guys. Alot of them sell janky "books" on janky sites that you can tell were made in an afternoon in a 3rd world country
First video I watch to start my day, hearing the visualization practice at the start confirms I will be following my dreams and moving to the Colorado mountains all the way from South Florida where I have lived my whole life. I tried the practice and had a very similar vision laying with my Minature Pinscher (no bull dogs here). Thank you for these videos Huberman.
Your willingness to be so vulnerable, in a period where you have been harshly judged is beyond admirable and appreciated. You have given so much to humanity, the least you deserve is peace, grace and respect. Thank you Dr Huberman. Easily your most profound podcast to date. 🤍🙏🌻
Same... I put on the captions for that and still didnt get it.... I took it to mean to dim your personality, your light, your emotions, your vulnerability.... As they say eyes are windows to the soul, eyes dont lie, so to be masculine is to dim the light from your eyes. To pull away your authentic self shining from your eyes...
The JOY and LOVE shared in this episode is unparalleled 🎉 Thank you both SO MUCH for being yourselves and sharing authentically! My heart swells with belonging, inspiration and admiration 🎉
September 2, 2024 There is something so special about this episode. There's a joy and candour so lovely. It was quite a day, and I feel so much love right now. Thank you so much. Aiman
Of all your podcasts, this one is hands down my favourite! The knowledge, anecdotes, but mostly the kindred energy the two of you brought to the table created magic and purpose. Thank you so much!!! I will be taking this one in again. Too important and too rich with nuggets of golden information to file away. Again, thank you both!❤
There are a lot of good thoughts here, but they are also laid out against a deeply misguided background assumption that our mission in life is to be true to ourselves at all costs. That is what Christopher Lasch called "the culture of narcissism." Human purposes are realized not only by oneself and in oneself but also, and often more importantly, within human communities, and even the starting assumption that there is some true "self" to find and that you can realize in mid-life that you're "really" a lesbian or whatever is primitive essentialism about the self. We do not "find" the self because there is no pre-existing self to be found. Rather, we create the self, and we create the self as part of a community of selves, which means accommodating ourselves to others and their needs and finding healthy, as opposed to unhealthy, self-destructive ways, to achieve such necessary compromises. The kind of life depicted in this podcast, on the other hand, is one befitting, in Aristotle's terms, either a beast or a god, but we live in the in-between realm, where maturity means creating not merely healthy selves but healthy communities, a project at which our society is increasingly failing because the entire focus is this childish obsession with being "true to yourself" and living "your truth," which is why we no longer seem to share a reality in common.
@superwild Thank you. Pretty much what I have been feeling throughout this interview (but not quite realizing why...'til I read your post.) ...could not relate SO MUCH to the posters here just loving/swooning (even crying) over this convo. Nice to know I'm not entirely an outlier here. It just seemed to me that so many are listening at a superficial level - missing the deeper message - a message that, ultimately I found disturbing. And yet... I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was. Your words brought it to light for me.😉
@@barbarafairbanks4578 Thanks for your comment, as it is also heartening for me to know that I'm not the only one who feels this way. Ever since the 1960s, people have been "dropping out" of society and going on this quixotic quest for the self, and in the 1980s, that started to mean pursuit of material wealth, and today, it often means pursuit of various identities, but at the root of all these wayward paths is a toxic individualism, taken to an extreme that recognizes no higher communal or transcendent purposes.
Thank you for your comment. I also have struggled to articulate some concerns I felt from this interview as there is a lot of good shared (I love the exercise of envisioning two parts of yourself and learning to have compassion for both). Clearly a lot of people are resonating with Dr Beck, there are some things she shared though that feel off.
Why would you assume that she’s not deeply enmeshed in her community or that being one’s authentic self is at odds with community? That seems like quite a leap and I wonder if it might tell you something about your own fears.
I shed several tears during this episode - thanks to both you and Dr. Beck for leading this discussion with such open hearts. You made me think of my bully who passed on in 2020. I loved him so much and love any opportunity to remember him. There are so many other things I can comment about this but I will say this: what a wonderful episode and I'll be looking into Dr. Beck!! I enjoy all the Huberman episodes I listen to but this episode is on a whole other level. I got so much out of it, I’ve listened to it twice this week! Thank you for introducing me to the amazing Dr Martha Beck, I’m instantly a fan. I’ve been working with a coach recently and am on that hard path of acknowledging patterns in my relationships and coming back to my true self, and hearing this was so perfectly timed. I am the fly!! It makes so much sense about how I feel so restricted in relationships, it’s because I give myself away. Such a lightbulb moment for me and it’s given me more breadcrumbs to follow to support me in coming back to my essential self. Thank you for being so open, and I loved the moments of laughter ❤

So glad you love CO! Boulder is too congested, so many nicer small towns here to explore (like Golden where I am, but also better than Golden). As for Dr. Martha Beck, Ph.D, she is so radiant, I wish I could have a face-to-face with her. I love her story about Adam. I have a severely disabled younger brother, and when I was pregnant they asked me to get tested (so I could terminate), but even though I am also pro-choice I chose not to get tested, so I appreciate her take on not making decisions from social pressure.

Martha Beck is the most wittiest one. With all her heart committed to wellness of life.
I am blown away by the connection between Andrew and Martha. The podcast has opened up new pathways for me . Thank you
I know that’s right.
I totally agree
Andrew!!! Thank you for reminding me how amazing, intelligent and inspiring Martha Beck is. My respect for YOU grows and grows as you continue to provide the highest quality education for our entire Beings.
Thank you for sharing your heart, mind and soul with us.
It’s an honor to be here.🌻
Please remember the text below:
That was, without a doubt, the most authentic, powerful, and resonant conversation I have had the privilege of listening to in as long as I can remember.
Only 15min in, and I already have to say that Dr's guidance thru the perfect day exercise is incredibly helpful....she clarified some elements I didn't even realize I'd understood inaccurately.... it's not the "perfect, ideal day", it's "an ordinary day in your perfect life"....HUGE difference with this adjustment alone, both in the visualization and the story formatting.....so helpful to hear her coaching in real time 👍👍
Completely agree with you. Excellent
Is he on instagram?
Yes he is. blizmyco
Microdosing helped me get out of the pit of my worst depressive episode, a three year long episode, enough to start working on my mental health.
Martha Beck is one of the wisest peope I know. Her teachings literally saved my life, and her kindness and vision showed me the way back home to my true self. Thank you for inviting her to your wonderful platform, dear Andrew! May many people heal because of this.
Really great podcast there Andrew, if you wanna to go deeper into the rabbit hole, 'Unveiling Your Hidden Potential' by Bruce Thornwood is a must-read

One of the greatest podcast episodes ever , so engaging and real, and it's really great and refreshing to see this side of Andrew Huberman and Dr Martha Beck is just a real gem❤❤❤
AGREED! My favorite ever!
Did they get room after this?
Andrew is really coming into his own and increasingly showing his authentic self on the podcast. We're here for the science, but we are also here for you Dr. Huberman! I love the integration of evidence based protocols with lived experience and creative expression.
Authentic self? He claims to give all of himself in a relationship and yet it's well known he cheated on 6 women at the same time!
@@ametrineambrosia4929 Did you come here to talk down about him? It's more like a rumor not a well known fact...
Thank you 🙏 for appreciating Huberman
Well put Sarah, - thanks
As a polyamorous person, I greatly appreciate the honesty, acceptance, and, frankly, the logic demonstrated in this episode.
I needed to come to CZcams just to write this comment
Dr.Huberman throughout the years you have interviewed so many amazing people who have shared so much valuable information, but I need to thank you for inviting and introducing us to this amazing soul.
Huberman.
Your dogs body has left, but the shared love will never leave

Amazing, how did you get a spiritual counselor, and how do i reach him?
His name is Father Obah Eze, and he is a great spiritual counselor who can bring back your ex.
he is father obah eze, he has great powers, he can help you.
Thank you for this valuable information, i just looked him up now online. impressive
Wow I just looked Father Obah Eze on the net he’s very legit thanks once again ❤
It’s beautiful to see ❤
When you’re trying to envision the perfect day, but you realize you already live it 🥺. I need to work on being more present. ❤
I was actually just thinking that. 🥰
Mankind is progressing towards it's own maturity. Thank you for being the pathfinders towards it's realisation of oneness of mankind.
so cute when he said talking to martha beck was in his "perfect day". i shed a tear. so wholesome. I know I'm going to like this episode. (listening to huberman on a rainy monday morning is part of my perfect day)
This was a fun interview and sharing. Delightful and informative!
This conversation was and will be life changing for me. When Martha shared her experience during surgery .. "This is how you should be feeling ALL the time" ... ❤❤❤
I have never learned so much in my 56 years of life than I have listening to your informative videos. I wish you all good things in life. Thank you.
This episode made me feel all the feelings. Dr. Martha Beck is a true gem. Wow. Best podcast ever. Being vulnerable is the way. Being truthful is the way. Integrity is the way.
Don’t de value kitten and be honourable 👍
Thank you having Dr. Beck on! Love her!!
I married the love of my life last year 3/23/23 in Hawaii (the most magical week of my life). One of our vows was “Do you both promise to take responsibility for your own happiness”💙💙💙

OH MY GOD! This is like science meets psychology meets philosophy meets sophistication and curiosity
I love this curious and honest exchange between these wonderful people.
❤ Appreciate 👍 your thoughtful comment with love from Lagos Nigeria
Lovely phrasing and I echo all of your sentiments!
Why call it work?
Fell in love with Martha immediately. Stoked to look into her work further. She’s a gem!
You have had some unbelievably good interviews but this one is just insane. She is incredibly wise.
Not gonna lie, I wasn’t excited at first. Mind blown. Thank you Dr. Huberman and Dr. Martha
I can see I am not the only one that found this particular episode very special. It is very refreshing when people show their vulnerability and realness the way you and Dr. Martha Beck did in this episode. Beautiful. Thank You for all that you do, it’s very much appreciated 🙏
Dr Martha comes across super well integrated. She still has a childlike charm that I’ve seen with so many
Andrew, this, hands down, has been the most beautiful and transformational podcast I have watched/listned to ever.
Omg this I did exactly the same!! 😊
It’s refreshing to remember that, at the end of the day, Andrew is just a regular guy with simple dreams for his life, like the rest of us.
Beck!

After listening to this I started reading North Star and Martha Beck is remarkable in her depth and connection…she connects and communicates so deftly.
I can see reason for Huberman’s admiration and it’s very cool to see this side of him here.

Thank you.

Thanks for amazing work Dr.Huberman. I recommend reading banned book Health and Beauty Mastery. You will be shocked
Why is it banned?

Sick of these spam sales comments on every vid now. If someone recommends you look into something vague and its top comment by likes with little interaction its a new type of bot guys. Alot of them sell janky "books" on janky sites that you can tell were made in an afternoon in a 3rd world country
The feeding an addict of one's own love, that's a powerful reframe. Dealing with that right now with a very persistent ex. It's hard - I needed this.
@19:45
Back away from your own eyes 👀 ✨️ can you please explain more Dr. Huberman or Dr. Martha?
That part was really confusing for me also
This touched my soul and made me cry. I am all fucked up and now it’s okay. I am becoming honest and therefore whole(ly) Ty for this.❤❤

Of all your podcasts, this one is hands down my favourite! The knowledge, anecdotes, but mostly the kindred energy the two of you brought to the table created magic and purpose. Thank you so much!!!
@superwild
Thank you. Pretty much what I have been feeling throughout this interview (but not quite realizing why...'til I read your post.)
...could not relate SO MUCH to the posters here just loving/swooning (even crying) over this convo.
An interesting mirror that you're looking into.
I shed several tears during this episode - thanks to both you and Dr. Beck for leading this discussion with such open hearts. You made me think of my bully who passed on in 2020.
