Reminds me a lot of Argo, the best cat I ever had. His purr was so loud it would wake me up in the middle of the night. Largest cat I’ve ever seen.
My bestest buddy and son-kitty just passes away at 16 and a half years. I hand raised him since he was a little over a week old.
He was every one of these things, and then some. I miss him dearly. He will not be my last Maine Coon.

He's honestly one of the most adorable babies I've ever seen! Between the cute trills, chatting, purring, biscuit making, floofiness, floofy pantaloons and how much of a lovebug he is I cant handle it, lol.

We have a male MC cross and he is the most wonderful companion you could ask for. The sweetest trills and he is such a handsome gentleman. NEVER demands and is such a love bug. We got him from the SPCA and apparently he had been returned twice, the last time with a lot of shouting. He hid for the first week but he has turned into the sweetest boy and such a delight to be around. He is a housecat but typical of MCs he likes to go outside. He actually stays in the backyard although he could easily get out. Comes in to pee and eat and overnight. Main bonus we no longer have a mouse problem.....Such an adorable kitty.

Does he eat the mice? If so, make sure to deworm him regularly. He sounds awesome. I miss having a cat so much.

I have a mixed breed cat that I adopted at a year old from my local shelter and he’s 12 years old now!
It really does seem like time flies in your pets lives! They are suddenly so mature when they used to be just little babies!
So true. And more: when you get a MC from a ( responsible!) breeder, you adopt them at 14 weeks. At this age they are already almost as big as an ordinary adult cat. So you never have a "tiny little" kitten in da house! ( altough I visited them before) This also gave me the idea that (MC)time flies...even faster! (hope you understand as English is not my native language)

@@maxiecoon Enjoy every day with them. I rescued my little boy from the middle of an intersection when I was in my big truck. His little fluffy tail was hanging down from the engine bay of a pickup truck across the intersection.
I set the brakes, and walked into the intersection to stop traffic and alert the driver. The lights went green, and all hell broke loose. Buddies made it out alive, for some reason came to me, and I took him 500 miles away to home, flea bitten and malnourished.
He followed me around 24/7, like a little puppy. Very protective and jealous of anything else in my life. Behaved just like your little friend. Wanted picked up and cuddled all the time. The 'bowl dance' ("Hey I want food - nah, just kidding, pick me up and love on me") - Wake me up in the morning. The face in the window, the pile of floof stretched out over anything that smelt like me. The trills and chirps, purrs and meows. Miss him so bad.
Broke my damn heart when he went missing for a couple of days - I knew something was wrong. Cried like a baby when I found him, and buried him.
Something wrong with his internal organs or stomach, he always regurgitated food, but I put that down to him being a rescue cat. He had lost some belly fat, but I thought it was just because of the summer. They don't let you know very well when they're not feeling their best. I should have done more for him.
We loved each other for 6 years, and they truly show love like no other being.
Sorry for the unload - just wanted to remind you to snuggle that little gift every time you can.

I have an orange MC similar to the star in the video, that someone threw out and was hiding out in the bushes around my apartment complex trying to survive many years ago. I could hear him crying for a long time but couldn’t find him, until he came out into the open and I was able to rescue him. Someone was feeding him, but I think her husband didn’t want him and was the person who dumped him. He’s the most intelligent cat I’ve ever known (and sweet), and my other cat took right to him, they became inseparable until the other cat died, and he mourned for several months. Now, a few years later he’s my velcro cat, he follows me around everywhere, is mostly by my side, waits patiently for his food (after first announcing he’s hungry by a supersonic purr), and pretty much does what I tell him to do….kind of like a well trained, er, dog. But the happy little chirp-purr sounds he makes when he comes up to snuggle are the best. ❤🥰💕
Maine Coons are so special 😻 They are very attached to their humans, how can someone be so cruel to throw away a living being?😭 So happy to know that he has a loving human now 🥰

How often do you have to brush him? How long does it take?😂
I brush him thoroughly once in a few weeks, it takes about 30 minutes 🙈 He is not very happy about it and occasionally I brush his pants or mane when he’s in the mood 😸
