My MIL lives in New River and we will be there next month. I want to check out Plant Bar and go thrifting while I am there. I can’t believe it is the 12th and you will have your finds completed by the 15th you guys are amazing!

We survived the “Bomb Cyclone” in Colorado yesterday crazy weather! Praying for sunshine for all of you!
My older kids are still in Utah and we got 8” of snow at the house in that storm. Glad I was in Az!

Jami I found the same little boy in red shoes reading at a goodwill! I changed the frame and put him on a barnwood shelf in our bathroom. Lol. Can't wait to see how you stage everything

A lot of them. If they aren’t in a good area for donations they bring in truck loads from other stores that get more donations than they an process.

Okay now I am 100% convinced that is the exact same white washed circle basket I donated! I live down the street from the DI where and Goodwill here in Peoria. When I had the basket it lived in a room as decor for my dragons room.

Hello👋 Welcome to my home. I live up in the White Mountains of Heber/Overgaard. I go down to Chandler, Az. where my daugther lives. And my Grandsons live in Queen Creek. Right now it's snowing here. I don't like snow, but need it r the trees. I just love to watch u both. Have fun.🙄

Made me home sick. Lived there for 15 yrs... my favorite chair came from Peoria goodwill.
I love Restore. I wanted to learn how to tile, and I got free broken tiles for practice cutting and mortaring. They also had sandless grout for my practice. They do carry some wood furniture.

I LOVE PICK'IN!!!!! It's the best part, I think it's the spending of the money, but when I find a great piece, I love that too, I'm not sure !!!! Can't wait to see the stuff done!!!! This is so exciting!!! I used to live at Ft Huachuca with my husband and 18 m/o daughter when he were in the Army.I had gotten out of the Army in VA to be a stay st home mom. We enjoyed living there. Went to lots of holes in the wall, thrifts Nogales once, etc. Pick'in and looking out for rattlesnakes. That was 26 years ago!

Oh I'm jealous! I love the southwest this time of year. Later in the summer, it's way too hot for me in AZ. I'm impressed how many thrift stores there are out there. Most of the thrift stores in our area, except for Savers and Goodwill, are locally run by churches and non profit groups. I'm getting the thrifting bug, watching you both!

The globe with the flat bottom was designed for an atlas(book) to go in it, I think. I just recently saw one on a swap site.

Awesome. Wish my local goodwill would be that generous tho. That solid wood cabinet would be been $110. here and the wood trunk chest would’ve been at least $40. 🙄😕

Will you round the corners of that chest. :44 or distress the corners a little to add character.
We sanded the top down to bare wood and used black oil wax to seal and darken the finish. Left the square top.
