All the information so called food industry provides is not wrong. You are right about locally grown and available food . But I am afraid that the incentive to grow them as has been from ages is fast vanishing being replaced by the popular ones . Day is not far when most of the sixty varieties of pulses you spoke off will become extinct or discontinued.
