Top 10 Video Game Crossover We WANT to Happen!
The weirdest crossover I’ve played is Starlink: Battle for Atlas. In the XBOX1 and PS4 versions of the game, there’s no crossover. But then there’s the Switch version, where the team are helped by another team, which is none other than the Team Star Fox.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas needs an honorable mention! The crossover appears only in the Switch version of the game. Let me explain it: The Starlink Initiative arrives to Atlas to discover Judge’s origin. Judge is an alien made out of Nova. But when they arrive, Shiad, one of their friends, is being chased. Victor St.Grand, the leader, sends Hunter, Chase and Mason to help her. And that’s where the crossover comes in. A few seconds later, they’re contacted by someone: Razor asks who they are, and the person answering is none other than Fox McCloud himself! He and his inseparable friends (Peppy, Falco and Slippy) are in Atlas to find Wolf. While I don’t want to spoil the game, I just wanted to give it a mention for being one of my favorite game and the weirdest crossover I’ve played.

I already knew that "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate", "Fortnite", "Lego Dimensions", "Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed", and the "Kingdom Hearts" series had crossovers and didn't find any of that weird. I had no idea about the other crossovers on this list and didn't find the first one creepy. I like crossovers. By the way, I subbed.

I remember when crossover characters were already in videogames before launch, and you had to unlock them through gameplay. And they didn't come in as DLCs. Some were even exclusive to the type of console you owned. The best crossover characters are the ones who end up as secret bosses. This is especially cool, if you can recognize those secret boss characters and you know how powerful they are in their own game.
Kingdom Hearts may seem like an odd concept, but the way it’s done made it my favourite video game franchise of all time as well as my all time favourite piece of entertainment ever.
I've watched livestreams of people playing the franchise and didn't find it weird.

Which is understandable, as that is possibly how Sony does not want to talk about it since it was a failure.
Not a video game, but Magic the Gathering is going wild with crossovers, and they even have some gaming franchises, like Warhammer and opcoming Fallout and Final Fantasy, to mention a few
In Fortnite we also have Claire Redfield doing the Griddy on Rick Sanchez, Lara Croft picking up a downed Deku, and Ariana Grande having a sword fight with Yuji from Jujutsu Kaisen.

Amazing crossover games list my personal favorite is the Marvel vs Capcom series when it comes to crossover video games.
I saw a trailer for it!
Kingdom hearts was a bit weird at first but the story makes sense and the different worlds are fantastic

Animation Domination Throwdown Quest For The Cards (2016-) which recently added the FX animated character Sterling Archer It'll be a matter of time when they'll add characters from the Ice Age films just spitballin'

the MW2 one is probs the worst offender when it comes to crossovers, mainly cuz all Activision see are dollar signs and think that by adding so many guest character skins/operators from time to time will make it much more profitable. i mean... yea it worked but.... seriously.... focus on fixing the game and removing cheaters rather than adding skins in that don't make sense.
Tell me about it. When it comes to this, Activision is infamous for being greedy and such. And we know it's gotten out of control when of all characters, they have Skeletor as a DLC character.
yeah getting killed in a dude in a bunny suit is dumb say the least. lol not all crossovers in MW2 are bad but it is outta hand at this point.
@@1rockits Yea some are pretty cool and I'll admit while I haven't played MW3 (yet) some of the skin looks cool especially the Warhammer crossover but again... like you said it's getting way outta hand.
@@PokeGuy6 Spawn is fine cause well he was a soldier before turning into spawn, but all the crazy anime characters and RPG characters are oddly placed. I'm always thinking tactically like what Camo blends with this environment. Does this urban camo blend in with the urban environment, and etc...
"Call of Duty" has turned into "Call It Whatever You Want To".
Nah, Naughty Bear is NOTHING compared to Monokuma from Danganronpa
The former made it in DbD because both are made by Behavior Interactive, but they need to talk with Spike Chunsoft to include the latter cause it makes sense
I admit that Monokuma is more popular than Naughty Bear by comparison, but Naughty Bear still has it's fans.
@@ARTSONICFAN990 yeah, its 2 digits worth of fans while Monokuma has thousands, even millions ever since he became mainstream since 2013-14, unlike Naughty Bear who quietly disappeared from the face of the Earth since 2012
if not for the fact that Behavior remembered they made that game and its sequel, they wouldn't have included him in DbD
this list can be filled with just Fortnite and CoD
If it weren’t for MK vs DC, other MK games like NetherRealm’s MK and Injustice games wouldn’t happen. MK vs DC is okay, but I’m glad it exists.
That is true, and the thing is, Injustice would have Scorpion crossover while the sequel would also bank in on the crossover having Hellboy and the Ninja Turtles alongside Raien and Sub-Zero, while Mortal Kombat would start doing crossovers starting with MK9 having Kratos for the PS3 port and Freddy Krueger as DLC, with MK11 and MK1 adding in DC Comics character who are allowed to kill like The Joker and Peacemaker.
(grumbles at the multiverse map that keeps getting more spiderweb-like every second)

Fun fact about the legacy wars crossover: the street fighter characters that got ranger forms got figures
For the Metal Gear Solid you forgot 1 crossover, they had one with Assassins Creed, in Brotherhood it has Raiden as a skin and for Metal Gear Solid 4 it has Altair outfit

You talk about weird crossovers & you did NOT mentioned Project X Zone? Don't get me wrong, I love both the original & the sequel.
Stoic historical strategy series Nobunaga's Ambition did a crossover with Pokémon. It was called Pokémon Conquest and it surprisingly slaps.
The developers were wildin' with these Crossovers.
Fortnite is just flat out weird game in general especially with it's crossovers! I would be just sitting there looking at all the cast of characters that made their way in Fortnite, leaving me to only say "What in The Actual F*** is Going On???!!!"
Warzone is getting weirder than Fortnite, I get killed by dudes in bunny costumes, whatever happened to being tactical. To have skins that blend into the environment not stick out.
I think we're long past needing to view Kingdom Hearts as a "weird" crossover. It's 2023, it's been around for over two decades now. People wanting to keep thinking it's weird is the reason they have a hard time taking it seriously. We can only go "lol cloud strife and michael rat are in the same game, can u belive it" for so long before the joke goes stale.

The weirdest crossover I've ever seen was Negan in Tekken 7; I mean, wouldn't it be more appropriate to put him in MK?
Negan Wasn't In Soulcalibur, Your Thinking Of Tekkan 7. Although Soul calibur 4 And 6 Had Crossovers That Don't Make Much Sense. 4 Had Star Wars Characters And 6 Had 2b From Nier Automata.

Pokemon Conquest should have been on this list. Its a weird but awesome game that features characters from Nobunaga's Ambition/Samurai Warriors and Pokemon. And did i forget to mention that Pokemon Conquest is my favorite Pokemon spin off game on the NDS along with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky?

If you think "Mario Hoops 3-on-3" is weird, you haven't seen ANYTHING until you've seen "Mario Sports Mix" for the Wii! This successor to "3-on-3" added hockey, dodge-ball and volleyball even having the true final tournaments randomly choose a sport for each match. Even more Final Fantasy characters were added (along with one of the LAZIEST Mii incorporations), certain minigames are based off of Final Fantasy and the biggest kicker of them all is that BEHEMOTH IS THE ACTUAL FINAL BOSS AND IS FOUGHT BY A TEAM OF 3 UTILIZING THE MECHANICS OF ALL 4 SPORTS USING LAVA ROCKS AS A BALL REPLACEMENT!!!!! ...seriously, it's quite unreal to experience that (oh and you fight the Behemoth King for the true final boss which is even more ferocious than its already insane counterpart)...did I mention this happens because the story has the Toads finding crystals which contain each of the 4 sport balls inside (which crash-landed into the Mushroom Kingdom for seemingly no reason at all) and decided to attach them to trophies for our heroes to compete for in their respective sports, acquiring all 3 causes them to fuse into one super crystal for each sport and when all 4 are created those super crystals merged to create a DARK CRYSTAL that forces the heroes through a BLACK HOLE TO ANOTHER DIMENSION WHERE BEHEMOTH RESIDES (which after Behemoth's defeat it becomes a Rainbow Crystal)...yep...that's 100% real...
On a side note, the segment on "Fortnite" absolutely CRACKED ME UP!
The weirdest crossover in Smite was when Slipknot showed up

Got my hands on Mario Hoops a few months ago and did not know about the FF characters. As an FF fan, it was neat!
