It's August 2022 and this method still works! Took me two hours and I had to use Osirus's seed checker, but everything else in this video is spot on. I now have a 6IV ditto. Thanks a million!

@@ManoGeeky Are you asking is it safe to transfer one of these Pokemon you caught using this method to Pokemon Home? Yes they are. These aren't hacked or genned mon, they're legit that your caught from the game. They're like if you did a soft reset just a million times faster.

hey guys, just set the date to 09/21/2020 @ 7:00pm and use the wishing stone (post game)... It worked for me first try but maybe i got lucky cuz I cant repeat it.

@@ralphthompson9033 im only aware of the one spot to farm dittos over by 1 of the nurseries (as seen in video @ 1:00) Btw i forgot to test this multiple times. So i set the time and it worked for me first try. Could have just gotten lucky. Forgot to change original post.

@@karambit6508 If you have the Isle of Armor DLC, there is a small island with a symbol of a crown on it. It has a raid den that only spawns Ditto in it. Makes it significantly easier to farm them. :-)
It took me a couple tries at the end the algorithm is a little different looking than the video but it is 100% effective thank you so much!

It's weird... we told me that 6iv Dittos were hacked. Reported
With this method it took me about 2 hours. I made a few mistakes with the date and time because I would forget to change the month after day 31 in the month. It made tracking a little bit trickier and since I got worried I did a lot of extra bot checking. But still got the ditto, method is full proof!! The hardest part id say is finding a 3rd party discord that has a bot. Luckily my friend made his own.

You can also just find the purple beam ditto and click invite others hit the home button change date exit out of the invite other collect your 2000 watts if you beat the game and retry till you get a better ditto

The island with the crown symbol on it from the Isle of Armor DLC has a max raid den that ONLY SPAWNS DITTO!!
Right when I was about to link trade I checked the ditto I caught and it literally had 6 perfect IVs. XD

Hey, I put a lot of time figuring this out the hard way, learned some things after a lot of trial and error..
Here's all the things I believe could be explained better.
1. The advancements is the only thing that matters in the seed checker. The date is usually always wrong and gets worse the further your advancements go. I used the Calendar to get the correct date to land on or few weeks before, but seed checking and going off of advancements is crucial.
2. I recommended saving every month on the 1st instead of every 6 months in-case of "ERROR" and you gauge within around 28-31 days to avoid any lost time due to "ERROR".
3. Your seed is based off of your Wishing Piece. If you get the "ERROR" and it closes the game, don't worry, just reload your save, cast a 5 star ditto and reseed check, you won't lose advancements up until that save.
4. If you get a too far away advancement, you can try using another Wishing piece for better RNG.
5. If you plan on having a friend join your Den let them know there catch rate is not guaranteed. But don't worry, you can close the game after you catch the ditto and re-invite them to try again.
6. Although Bodie says 4 days. I recommend you should keep a save at least 10 advancements before the perfect ditto, don't save on the day of the perfect ditto, because there is a chance it might not be perfect, but that's okay, just reload and advance 10 more days and most of the time it should be the right one. (Maybe this is bad luck or possibly from skipping an extra day or two on accident without realizing, but it's always good to have the 10 buffer advancements just in case imo.)
It's funny, now I'll fill you in a challenge I had that's related to the last two things..
There was a point I got to a perfect ditto, invited my friend, we tried to catch it, I got it and he didn't and we were confused then found out why.. Then, I reloaded, got to it again, and we tried to catch it and we got a not quiet perfect ditto, then were super confused because it was on the same amount of advancements as the last attempt. So, I just reloaded it, but this time, I was stuck 10 advancements before it, super worried and had to do a seed check to make sure it wasn't just gone. Luckily, I went 4 advancements and found a 5 star seed and checked it, it told me it was 6 advancements away! So all in all it was still 10 advancements, we got to it, caught it, and it was perfect that time. I don't understand why we didn't get the right one, but It's definitely possible, somehow!

You dont need a 5 star for dudu. You can catch any pokemon in the raid to get your seed.

So you only ever send dudu 5 star dittos?
@@ProfessorBodie Yeah. I believed it was one of my problems when I came up unsuccessful, so I've been making sure to only get a 5 star ditto for the seed checker. Maybe it doesn't matter though. Maybe it needs more testing.

Also, You can save 4 advances before the target date. Since you stopped at 10 you may have lost count along the way. 10 advances is a lot and it can get confusing even at 4 advances away.

Actually this is the most easiest one.
Because only need 6 iv ditto. but doesn't need to be perfect star shiny.
or even square shiny+hidden ability
I recommend the day advance day will be easy find around 300-500 days for perfect ditto, if it's more than that day can just do the raid or put the wishing piece on other den to reset the raid.
second is finding good seed is the most difficult one.
the same bean is the same position to get the shiny or perfect.
Even though the different position means different seed but the same bean will have the same result.
If you didn't satisfied the result, you need to use another wishing piece on the other den to reset the original den, or just do the raid you just put the wishing piece.
So if you are looking for a perfect shiny GMAX something like that, if you are lucky maybe at least 3 days or more time to find one.

I am 4 advanced away from my 6iv ditto and haven’t found it yet. I go up 4 days and never see the 5 star ditto. The thing that confuses me the most is the locking in thing

That is really cool, I have all the dittos I need but I may use this for getting 0 speed raid dens like a den with gmax copperajah or hetterene, that way I can have them trick room ready. Thanks for the vid. Also, if you ever do gmax pokemon that works well in trick room maybe make them 0 speed. *cough* *cough* hetterene

I know I'm late to the party, but I'm also just over halfway through and a little confused. Is this starting that I can only catch these perfect ditto on specific days based on my game state?
I've been trying for a while and was under the impression that I could potentially get it after several (hundred maybe) attempts on the same day.
I'm wondering if I should advance the system clock by a day every failed attempt if I were to do this "blind. "

I'm unable to use dudu to get the seed since they changed the link code from 4 digits to 8 digits.
Is there any other way to get this?
I used leanny to advance to the next 6iv ditto but the date was wrong.
I'm assuming the seed is different per player.

As long as your japanese profile has nintendo online as well you should be able to trade with dudu.
