This method works!! I tried it out yesterday and ended up with a shiny dynamax Applin after ending up on the date change towards 2027. Be sure to watch the full video and don't make the mistake like I did and not save six days prior to the shiny den in order to reroll the shiny into the gmax mon you want. EDIT: If your game crashes, and if you've been saving after every month/year, it won't affect your shiny den goal. Just go back to the date saved in your game and try again.
I had watched other videos and they did not explain the 4 frame reset clearly enough. They made it seem like every fourth frame was random, like 1,2,3 locked, 4 random, 5,6,7 locked which was a repeat of 1,2,3, then 8 random, then 9,10,11 locked repeat of 1,2,3, then 12 random, etc Kudos!

I really will love to do it(share the shiny den) I personally fin a good Golurk no shiny but 6IV’s and I did share it got two nights and believe me I did enjoy every single battle and am trying so hard to get my shiny den and share with every body.

I've found that so long as you set the time/date via the internet when you open other games, they aren't affected. Just make sure to have finished any time-related shenanigans and set via internet BEFORE opening anything else.

Sometimes it changes the next day. If you saved at the shiny frame and it changes the next day just rewind your clock a few days back before opening the game.

If you do the date skip process in a Pokemon Center the Game will never Crash!

Not as well as the Admiral-Fish Raid finder. Google it. It only works on a PC though.

When you find your shiny pokemon, save then close the game. Then change your clock back. Then start the game and catch it.

1 year = 1 frame = 1 day

As long as you save before changing your date back you should be fine.
