Wow! Can't believe this actually worked. My magic mouse keeps disconnecting on me all the time. Especially when I leave it alone for a brief of period time. I literally just banged the mouse on the desk gently a couple of times as I was watching your video and it started working instantly! lol. Great video! Thank you!

Great fix. This worked for one mouse on one computer and another one worked when I did the option/shift bluetooth icon "reset the bluetooth module" fix.

Hi, I tried this method. Worked for few minutes but again started disconnected, connected back issue. I didn't have this issue all these years apart from batteries dying. Now I have new batteries but no use. Any other solutions?

I found the battery contacts inside the my mouse had a hazy film on them. I burnished the contacts with a wood toothpick and now I can shake my mouse and it stays connected.
