This is my first foray into a desktop PC and ran into issues with the boot but this video helped clear the issues and now I'm finally able to enjoy the PC I just spent a whole bunch of money on. I just decided to put together my own video on building a computer, but quickly realized I am not the best guide, especially for as complex a topic as troubleshooting. So I went looking for a video to put in the description for further troubleshooting tips.
Can I just say these videos are super well done? Like above and beyond what I was expecting to find for a mid sized channel?
Take my like, you've earned it.

FYI. For anyone watching this video... IT REALLY PAYS TO WATCH IT IN IT'S ENTIREITY. I tried removing the graphics card. Tried removing my RAM sticks. It wasn't until the VERY LAST suggestion that it worked and regardless how insignificant it might be, it's worth trying. The only thing that worked was me removing the CMOS battery for 5-10ish minutes and then putting it back in. Trust me, this works. I was going to go to my neighborhood Microcenter and probably buy and get installed a brand new motherboard which is what I thought was wrong. This saved me a chunk of change.

FOR NEW BUYER WITH NO DISPLAY. I just got mine to work following this guide, but with some added self diagnosis. My model was one with an rtx 3070 in it. The card wasn't fully seated because there wasn't enough physical space on the motherboard to have the giant of a GPU not run into one of the cables underneath it (is it called a SATA cable? Anyway...). I had to flex the cable connection down while being sure to not bump into the release tab of one of the rams when I reseated the graphics card. It...barely...fit and seated deeper than before. Not too happy with how flexed that cable mount on the mobo had to be, but there it is. It helps having a mechanical background I guess. :)

There's one more simple check you should make if your PC has been in use for several years: If it won't start, or it takes a very long time to POST, or it shuts down again almost immediately, check for a bad power switch. That just happened to me a few weeks ago. When pressed and released, the power button remained stuck in the down position. Read your motherboard's manual to find out how to "jump" (short) the power connectors to start the PC. If that works, you can buy a replacement power switch.

For people that bought through CyperpowerPC. Just bought a prebuilt, also lasted about 30 days and the computer would turn on for a few seconds then shut off. Keyboard, mouse and Monitors did not turn on during this. Checked all the above. Turned out to be the round battery under my graphics card on the motherboard. Left it out for 10 minutes, then put it back in and the PC started working. I had initially thought it would be the PSU, but it wasn't! Wanted to post for anyone that might be having a similar problem and to save you from buying a whole new PSU!

Love the video you said I could ask for help.
First Post so bare with me: I am not getting a POST. Do I have something that is not compatible with my motherboard (see below)?
I attempted to do my own build:
    My build:
    1. Corsair 4000x ICUE rgb case
    2. Gigabyte: B450 I AORUS PRO WIFI (rev. 1.0) motherboard (AM4 Format)
    3. AMD Ryzen 5 5600x with include Wrath cooling fan
    4. RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB (2 x 16GB) PC4-25600 (DDR4-3200) in motherboard DDR slots 2 & 4.
    5. Graphics card: MSI Radeon R9 280 in first pcie x16 slot
    6. PSU: Corsair CX550F RGB, 550 Watt, 80 PLUS Bronze, Fully Modular RGB Power Supply
    7. SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250gb: in the Sata3 slot 2 (0, 1, 2, 3 are my options)
    8. Monitor: Dell UZ2315H (resolution 1920x1080)
Issue: Fans are spinning colors are changing. Light is on the motherboard indicating that the CPU is talking to the motherboard. Other 3 lights do not turn on (DRAM, VGA, Boot).
Any reason why I can't get to the Post screen on my monitor?
    Things I have tried:
    1. Move the DDR memory to slots 1/2
    2. Removed the CMOS and put back after 10 mins.
    3. Removed Graphics card and plug into the hdmi slot on the motherboard.
    4. Removed the SSD
    5. Downloaded Windows on a USB drive hoping to boot off of it.
Help is needed. Thanks, in advance.

My PC will power up with no display. Then hours or even sometimes days later, my mouse will light up and boom, good to go. Issue is I have to put it into sleep mode, because if I shut it off it’s the same issue over and over.
No idea what to do, since if the power goes out or the PC shuts down, most of the time it’s another few days before it comes back on.
Have even paid a PC repair person $100 to tell me nothing is wrong with it. Of course ibuypower has helped zero at all. Never been so frustrated on spending $1400 on something that had an issue the day it arrived and was never fixed :(

Mine DIED after two weeks. None of the steps changed anything. In addition to no display the keyboard doesn't fully power up. The keyboard works fine when plugged into another computer though. I end up returning it on the Air Base where I purchased it. Even the top USB ports were super flimsy loose.

Hello, My name is Bernard and i'm having some issues with my PC and would appreciate your help if possible. I have an AMD FX-4350 CPU that i just swapped to a FX-9370 cpu. I installed the cpu but after installing it i waited a few minutes then went to try turning on the computer but my computer seems to not want to stay on. When i press the power button it turns on for about 5-10 seconds then it turns off automatically. I get no video display either. Is there a reason why its doing that? Its never done that before. This is actually the second time i change a CPU so i'm not sure if i missed something. Your help is very much appreciated.
    Thanks

so i power on, everything lights up and fans spin. My motherboard led lights begin the boot loop. White led(4 seconds), yellow led(4 seconds), then the red led comes on but only for a second then it goes back to white led and being looping in that order. My manual says red light indicates CPU but it’s supposed to stay illuminated if there’s a problem with that hardware. I reseated everything, cleared cmos and redid bios flash, still no signal. My monitor works on my laptop, but it takes a few minutes of being plugged in for the image to show. But it works none the less. any ideas? asus b550f wifi ii and 5800x3d. brand new build so ram isn’t dirty and i tried reseating didn’t work
