    Your video was randomly recommended to me but I sat through it and kinda enjoyed the process. I kept giggling whenever I heard "hoe spreader" lol

    Thank you for another interesting and enjoyable. I have fought with hoses for years that is a great hose spreader.

      It was about 45 bucks on Amazon. I have alot of hoses , including the waste tank so this should make changing them very easy.

      Thank you for the kind words. I try to make my videos provide some value to the viewer . Those were some strange clamps , I will get some better ones. It's fitting well now but the hose spreader was the key to making things fit.

      I will ! I'm going to make 1 tomorrow, more of an update and showing my new dingy I bought from west marine. I'm leaving port labelle marina in a few days on a 350 mile cruise to jekyll Island Georgia ( Brunswick) and will have the boat there for 2 months or so

    Great videos . But it would be better to offset the clamps it will make a better seal.

      Those clamps were crap ! It would be hard to describe but they were not regular hose clamps. The screw rode on top of the clamp band and did not screw all the way through like a normal hose clamp

    You expanded the hose more than necessary. How did you repair? new hose or new clamps

    • @TheBoatingDiaries
      @TheBoatingDiaries  Před 11 měsíci

      It contracted and some better clamps ! Live and learn don't over expand your hose !

    I dont know if thosr hoses have water or not but thesuggest you go to an industrial supply shop and inquire about hose clamps. Those small gear clamps are garbage and i certainly wouldnt trust them on a boat. There are heavy clamps that you can crank on.

      Sorry new phone and the keyboard sucks

      Theses clamps are not even regular hose clamps. The screw don't go all the way threw ? But I did pickup some T bolt hose clamps ,that use a bolt instead of a screw

    SUPPOSED TO PUT CLAMS IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS I THINK

    • @TheBoatingDiaries
      @TheBoatingDiaries  Před 11 dny

      That is correct clamps should be in opposite directions, but also the clamps need to be a T bolt clamps. It all sealed once I put the correct clamps on and the hose cooled off from the heat
