- It's been almost a year to the day since we slapped the wet exhaust together so we could finish the Beta Marine 43 installation and motor to Richmond to get our dodger. At that time we didn't have time to install the Vetus wet exhaust. This week we finally finished this one.

We’re Jeni and Rich. We’re really just a couple of average Joes. In a nutshell we met and married in our early 20s; I graduated from college in my late 20s; adopted two cats and a dog in the late 90s; sold a house and bought a new house in our mid 30s; then sold the new house and moved onto a sailboat in our early 40s. In between all that we had a bunch of fun like camping, scuba diving, watching hockey games (Go Red Wings!), concerts, traveling, spear fishing, restoring a 1963 Chevy II Nova; spending time with family and friends. A few years ago we decided to lay off all the fun-having to fix up this old boat. We figure if we put our noses to the grindstone for a few years, we’ll be able to travel for a few years and do all the fun things we’ve missed.

There is something about your timing, guys. Yesterday I installed our Vetus water lock muffler and a muffler/gooseneck. I ended up making a custom bracket for the gooseneck, mostly because I couldn’t find one of the two zip tie holders that came with the unit. When it was all done I found it in my pocket…. Definitely an outtake moment 🤣.

Followed you from the beginning. Things I really appreciate vs. other sailing vlogs. You go into detail on how to perform the projects that are common to all of us. You don't waste our time with personal drama or sailing which we all already do, or make photo ops in sketchy bikinis... the day Rich wears a bikini, I'm out ! . Hope you keep sharing ! You should have thousands of followers...don't get it.
Thanks for sticking around. We don’t plan on following the “drama, cry-face, bikini shot” recipe of other channles, but we will be making more sailing/traveling videos soon. There will always be things to add and fix so we’ll make those videos too. Hope you’ll stick with us! 😄
How is the sound of the engine compared to before?😊
It seems quieter for sure.
