Thanks for the intro to the product. Very informative. I need to go back and watch your other video as we are just in the process of setting up our podcast! All the best!
Oh hell yeah. I was doing 6 episodes a month from 6 different pods, and let me tell you, I had to stop doing podcast because it was just overwhelming. Takes HOURS even after you do the first one and get a template. This is so crazy I wanna cry. Omfg 😭 thank you AI Gods
Has it changed your workflow by any chance?
Good gravy, that's a lot! Are you a podcast producer or just a madman with 6 different podcasts?
@@anythinginteresting7472podcast producer. I have/have had quite a few different clients. I don’t run 6 shows anymore, my first year I did. I had to slow it down because it became too much
@@location-cognizantmissile9743absolutely. I’m turning around an hour long podcast in 24 hours since I got this. It takes longer to get all the clips ready for the AI than the AI takes to cut it for me
It's not AI, it's quite a simple process of making cuts in the video based on the waveform audio (who is talking) and simply making the 1 and 0 guess that you want to see whoever is talking on screen. That's like Plural Eyes syncing audio which came out over 10 years and nobody was calling that "A.I". No mention of "A.I" at all on the website either.
yep. I was looking for this comment
It's the buzzword of the year, so they're gonna use it whenever they can for clickbaity titles.
@@SnafuWarrior buzzword of the year for sure. reminds me a bit of "crypto" being the buzzword of 2020/2021...computers automate things, this is a NEW CONCEPT right? lol. Tech is looking for more VC funding and the ones who get the most "attention" will get the monies.
Either way its still really damn cool.

Man, I wish this existed a few years ago when I was cutting 2 hour, 3 camera podcasts. Easily worth the asking price for an assembly edit to make minor tweaks on. Thanks for sharing 👍
Been watching you since 2020 and your content is always at the forefront of quality. This AI stuff is wild!
Just wait soon you wont need YT creators, AI will do it. And then AI can watch the videos, while bots comment! Remove us pesky humans and things speed up faster!

Wow! That’s awesome👍 fully packed information. Gonna use it for sure. ❤
Man thanks for making the video to the point without excessive information.
This looks amazing! I just downloaded the free trial. My dance recital is starting and I was thinking to try it on that. Basically 2-cam (one wide, one tight) with a mixed audio track. Some shows I mix a 3rd cam angle. I see you need to keep the clips separated and not already multi-cam nested.
@John Q...were u able to get the cuts perfectly with the mixed audio ?
@@philipsimiloluwaalabi2581 eh, not really. Lol! It used mostly the wide-shot. Wanted mostly tight shots. I couldn't find where I could require more of one camera (?)
Great tutorial. You're great at these. Very useful.
Great content!! This tool is incredible. I’ve been using it a lot. Good stuff from a fellow Parker 👊👊
Literally AMAZING! Thank you!
Certainly interesting. I don't think I'd find it as useful (yet), I already edit a 3-cam pod in multi-cam and usually at double speed. And if I'm going to have to run through an AutoPod cut anyway just to check its work (for ex. I don't think we needed to see you say 'yeah' in the middle of his story) then I'm happy to just do the initial work. I'd be interested to see how it develops though, and how it does with mic bleed. Good vid, thanks for putting it on my radar.
Awesome extension thanks for sharing!
This is definitely a huge time saver. Seems like you could easily apply it to any interview scenario. Have you tried it with 3 or 4 people? Thanks for sharing.
How is my guy chopping a 47 minute podcast in half an hour???
I KNOW RIGHT
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that.
I call BS. I'd say maybe an hour to an hour and a half if you're quick. Or if you used a system like the atem mini pro ISO, and got both a cut video with followed audio files that you could adjust. But if it's 47 minutes you have to watch 47 minutes to make sure everything looks good...
I said the same damn thing lol
I mean, you can watch through in 2x speed, but still. You have to go through at least twice - once to cut and again to review. I guess the review process isn't necessary if you re-watch your cuts individually the first time.
Just started using it and like it so far. The issue I'm trying to solve (I'm not a premiere power user) is there is some low background echo on the guest's side, If I could reduce that I'd be very happy. I;'m sure its a setting I'm not aware of
Need this for FCPX!!
The time I think when Parker realise oh shit I like this better at 3:20 and his smile after. I felt the same haha super cool to see the AI makes it so awesome fast
Just got this the other day and tried for my podcast , WILD times we live in lmao
Wow that's amazing. I have a 4 camera 3 audio video to edit, have never done multicam editing before so this looks like it will save me a ton of time. Thank you for sharing!
Do we that can edit more than 2 charapter?
You are a true inspiration parker
Pretty awesome. I don’t edit podcasts, but this type of AI assisted editing is fantastic. Frees up so much time which results in more time spent doing other important things like bigger projects with tight deadlines or even scouting for more clients. Major companies like Adobe and Black Magic Design need to buy these small start ups or design there own versions of this software and implement it natively.
Blackmagic design is leading the way with auto transcribing and then you can create an edit cut from the transcription. It’s an absolute game changer for me as I do quite a bit of medium to longish form interviews and often cutting down an hour of interview to a 5 minute final cut.

As a project-based video editor, this is totally a game changer! with this, I can have more time working on to different projects/clients. Good stuff!
Not good, we can lose work

@@kacperliszka7700 well, if you look it that way then it is a possibility. But if we keep on innovating and improving our creativity, then we will not be replaced with AI 😉
@@themysticsamoan peter even says in the video that the client can save money by using this tool. Idk, it's a tough spot
@@nkft1 You're missing out on whether the client would want to actually pay for the software to do that themselves. They may not have the means to edit or want to buy editing software or could be too busy for that themselves so they'll just outsource it anyways. That's just my theory on someone who might be doing lots of podcasts over the space of the week where the last thing they'd want to do even if it would save them the money in hiring an editor is by downloading software which they need to look at their video.
JFC that's good. I mean there's bits where I would have stayed on one face while the other person asks or answers but that's a better edit than most YT creators I know would be able to do when starting a channel.
found this video insanely helpful thanks
I always wanted to meet you. At CCP your team used TImeBolt early. Remove silence plus, PUNCH in /out, Umcheck filler words, FastForward silences, multi cam into FCPX, Premiere, Resolve with integrations. Sculpt even faster than you can in FCP..
And on the first pass make chapters for CZcams that copy /paste CZcams...this alone will save you a boatload of time. Love to continue getting a shot at your business.
If they add this Davinci Resolve I’m 100% getting it. Its not worth it to switch back to Premiere Pro just for this though.
I'm there with you
Me too ! @blackmagic
why cant you have both programms? i use 5 to edit solely sound and maybe ~15 in total for editing, 3d and compositing.. each software has it's benefits and cutting a podcast in seconds is worth an additional render imo. but you do you, ofc
@@simarock Last I checked, Premiere was $21/month and AutoPod is $30/month. That's $612 a year just to be able to quickly edit Podcasts that I most likely will need to revise after the AI finishes editing anyway. That, coupled with the fact that I had horrendous stability issues with Premiere Pro, solidifies my decision to not get it again. If I was churning out Podcasts daily maybe I would consider $600/yr to be reasonable, but thats just not the case for me.

Love it! What if I have a 3rd cam for a wide shot?! Version 2?
I am surprised that you didnt use multy cam sequence, and you enable/disable the clips. Its just mind blowing for a professional like you not using it. 😮
Sometimes you want to see the reaction to what someone is saying, rather than who is saying it, but that can be tweaked afterwards. Reaction shots aside, this is a massive time saver...
I'm definitely using this. I create tons of podcasts per week for clients!

That is actually amazing!
Wow. Amazing. Thanks🙌
Holy crap, that's perfect. It chops everything and you can just select what you don't want artistically. OMFG
Those cuts were pretty quick for a "low" setting. Hopefully they update it based on feedback and slow it down some more. I like podcasts to "breathe" a little bit more instead of cut back and forth for every word between speakers
Yup I echo that concern feedback too
Great recommendation!

I just laughed out loud when you showed the results. Wow! Welcome to the future I guess 😅👌
Definitely sold. Great content
Blew me out of my shoes🤯 Maybe a similar test on excerpts from a wedding or other event where there is more movement?
Does this AI look through the folders of clips in the footage pool and automatically make a multitrack timeline from it all? I shoot weddings and am looking for a faster way to catch up with my backlog. I use Sony Vegas Pro 18 but am willing to change platforms. Typically, I use three video cameras (all Sony A7IV and A7C) which have Rode Wireless Go radio mics attached to all of them. I use gimbals for the preps, drinks reception, bride & groom walkabout shots. I use three cameras to film the whole ceremony, speeches and dances. I use drones for the venue footage opener and endings. I also use the music used on the day under license for offline copies to the customer. It takes me about 5-6 hours to edit a 1hr documentary movie with all the 'on the move' parts of the day cut in time to music, and the full ceremony, speeches and dances muilticam. When I do the gimbal parts of the day, I like to cut the clips for being in time with the music, mostly in 50% slow motion and to make sure that the cut is a clean single direction gimbal movement (I tend to slowly move and rotate the camera around the subject in a circular parallax kind of way). Will there be something that can learn my style and do all this for me?
Man Oh Man, that was awesome 🤩
mind blowing, "goosebumby"😅
I was wondering when Ai was going to do my basic editing. Not gonna lie. That tech ability came quick!
This is very fascinating. Is there anything similar to this for Davinche Resolve?
Will try it for sure 👌
woowww! Amazing! just one question, the Audio line, is separated for each person, or there is 2 audio cameras ?
I totally wish they had this in Final Cut!!
That was amazing!!!
Big Fan of your work
It's amazing how far AI can go. Does it only work for English-speaking podcast or does it also work for other languages?
AI is ridiculous!!
I'm a tester for Google Bard, and I asked the AI to "create a bootstrap landing page with a navigation and a contact form with name, email, and phone number" and it spit out the code for the entire page in like 5 seconds. Saved me about an hour or 2 of creating a starting point.
We need this for weddings!..... :)
Simply amazing that plugin. One question though. How could you manually chop through a 45 minute podcast in approximately 30 minutes? This will literally save me weeks and weeks, maybe a full month of time a year. Thanks a lot for reviewing it.
Great question
I love this, but I have to input 2-4 separate audio files, one for each speaker, and I still have to cut out the sniffles, breathing noises, etc. for non-active speakers with hot mics. I hope they add audio cutting in the future.
Pretty cool AI work.. Saves a lot of time!
bout to use this RIGHT NOW
This is amazing!
WOW! Can this plug-in be used on FinalCut Pro? Thanks for your help!

Hello, what good video quality, with which program do you record the camera and screen to obtain that quality?
This is crazy, thanks for sharing P.
What if you have one audio source/channel and 2 cameras, will autopod still be able to cut that accordingly?
No at this point it needs a separate audio channel for each speaker
Does it need to be a 2 camera set up or can it track if it’s 1 camera ?
This is freaking incredible
I think, sometimes the switch was unnecessary, but over all, spot on. Crazy, but also very simple, as it just analysis the voices in the audio. The question is, if you can call this AI?! From my perspective it‘s to simple to be AI.
As an podcast editor this looks really dope ❤

Hi Peter this is a great video. Can you please tell me would this Autopod app work for me to use to edit my zoom video interviews and how to use the multi cam feature to create a more dynamic interview? Do you have any suggestions please? I am currently using the latest Filmora 12 app to edit the videos just looking to save time editing. Thanks
OMG this is incredible. Imagine the new types of content that will be coming out in 5 years. It's going to be crazy!
Hello! that's peeked my interest in a podcast. Now if AI could cut and edit one of my normal cycling videos I would save so much time and just get out and film.
Are you inserting pre mixed and mastered audio into AutoPod or is AutoPod mixing your audio for you? Great vid!
That's really cool man
Are cuts being made on the audio tracks too? Hard to tell in the video
Is nice, it felt like it did nice L and J cuts.
This is awesome!
I don’t really consider this AI, more semi automated. It’s cutting based some rules and logic but isn’t making creating decisions. With that said it’s a huge productivity tool, absolutely worth the cost! I hope resolve starts to add more features and true AI editing capabilities to speed up workflows!
I AGREE, that would be suuuuper handy, even for just switching the cam to the speaker

Those cuts made my eyes hurt. You will still need to go through all of it to make sure people don't get motion sickness of something with all of those hectic cuts
How does this work for audio only podcasts?
What about rode mic connect WAV files? Each of my podcast audio files are automatically as ONE audio file. Not two separate audio files. Is there a way for the software to work with this???

Hello,
Cool video. Just a question : let's say a video track chosen by the AI which is shown to the final editing doesn't fit us. Is it possible to choose another video track (of one of another camera) to make it appear in the final editing and how to do that.
An when nobody talks (no sounds), is it possible to chose a camera by default to show and how ?

@@Stricknines my encoding after everything has been cut takes forever, I don’t have a dedicated GPU so that’s my issue. My average encode time is 2-3 hours, but if taking an hour or so off my editing time, I’m good with that 😜
But how does it know what to cut? In making it a 3 to 4 minute video are you choosing what you want? I
@@collinsal1433It analyses the audio and video tracks you tell it, and it does the rest. if it hears specific audio it will change to that video track...it's a pretty simple setup.
You have to sync the video and audio first, then it does the main pass of edits and you go in and make sure you like what it's done.
I'm saying the normal edit time for me to do a multi-cam edit can take hours...and when i use autopod, it does it for me in 3-4 minutes. I then put my editor hat on and scrub through quickly to see if I want to change anything.
Hope that clears that up. 🙂
Thanks for the demo! The tech is intriguing, but it's got one BIG limitation, in that you HAVE to have unique video and audio tracks for each "camera". Meaning if you use something like Rode Wireless GO mics that merge the audio into one track in your camera, it literally won't work. Hard to understand why, given in your demo it appears to be making all of its cuts on the VIDEO and doing nothing to the audio tracks. No idea why it would have to be so limiting in this specific way.
