Loving these new tools. There are two of us who host and we have guests come on for each episode. Sometimes we are talking over each other. Is there a way to separate the different tracks so that we could space those out?
We're glad you like the new tools! We don't have that kind of ability in our editor right now, but stay tuned as we know multi-track editing in Riverside is an often requested feature!

You’re welcome! During recording you can screen share an open photo in Preview on Mac or Photo viewer on Windows. You can also upload video clips to the media and play those! At the moment you can’t add overlays like that in the editor.
Does the transition to share documents or other visual include zooming in? Or are you adding these in post?
I sometimes zoom in quickly by hitting CMD+ on a Mac, if that’s what you mean

Is there a way to add background music to the video/audio AFTER recording? Or during recording, is there a way to lower the volume of the music? That would save me from using outside editors.

what's the easiest and fastest way to create many short clips in addition to the ones AI generates? What formats and lengths do you use for each social media? Thanks!
I usually create one clip in the 9:16 format with the captions and layout I prefer. Then keep it as a draft and just duplicate it for more clips. Then in the transcript, select the part you want to use as the clip and select the three dots and “keep only this”! I would make 60 second clips and you can post to tiktok, reels, and YT Shorts
Can you please share your Notion Template. Love the idea of 10 minute edit; however, export-to-Premiere is still a dynamite feature of Riverside. Pro-level Riverside subscription is needed to get the srt transcription file to upload to CZcams. That's making me cling to Premiere, which is expensive, and includes rich tools for transcription and subtitles.

How do you remove any erms, ems, and ahs. Those are not silences and need to be edited out manually, right? Not a good idea to remove too many on a videopodcast I guess - but some, automatically - would be nice. How do you do it?

Does Riverside allow me to crop each track separately? My goal is to make the relative size of the guest in each track commensurate.

Can get access via the Spotify for Podcasters site - I get a message saying 'Stream is Locked'?
Are you trying to record in Riverside with your Spotify account? Where is it getting stuck?
Yes. I get a notice saying “Live Stream Locked”. Tried the Spotify for Podcasters support but they hadn’t a clue how to solve it.
how would you about editing an in person podcast? that's where i struggle :(
