Finally able to sit down and watch this. Glad you enjoyed it Ramsey 😆 I am by no means a master but I do love a good hunt 🕵️ The Gucci envy bottle should be an original 1998 bottle as with Gucci's the last digit is the year, as well as the colour. The packaging is to kind of hide stuff lol as the mail lady took a look inside before sending it, so if it wasn't wrapped 😵 looking forward to seeing all the future vids and thanks again for all the amazing content 🙏 p.s. sorry to your poor knife lol 🔪

Subscribed! I’m really grateful for you, no one ever cares about the vintage scents . It pains me to see many youngsters and even the so-called “connoisseurs” that don’t really appreciate the vast amount of underrated vintage scents . And they go for the crappy pretentious niche and bubble-gummy spiced with sprinkles scents .

Great stuff bro. Back in 2011 when I was working in Hong Kong doing a specialty coffee gig for 2 years , I am coffee roaster. I had an amazing time increasing my perfume collection, so many old school gems I picked up in those random discount fragrance shops they have around. One day a bunch of 50 ml Envy bottles turned up $30 AUD silly me , I bought 1 only.

Very good stuff... I wore it to bed last night and it is pure bliss indeed... i think the parfum de toilette is better to my nose on first sniff 🐽
My goodness, thank God I found your channel. I grew up with these gems. I miss the 70s and 80s, those perfumes were monsters and classy.

What a layoff haul! VC&A First is a masterpiece to me. I asked you about that Mark Cross on a livestream some time ago because I thought it could be right up your alley. I have a feeling it’s in the same ballpark as Lagerfeld Cologne but I don’t know much about it so I may be wrong. On another note, that involuntary lovelock looks pretty cool lol

Monsieur de Givenchy is similar to Chanel's Pour Monsieur (not the concentree version) and it's not sold in the US. I don't find MdeG similar to YSL Pour homme at all. YSL is very lemony and has a slight dirty element to it.

First, Gem, Mitsouko . Love them all. Wore First so much in my late teens. Super lovely. Makes me laugh when I hear it described as a mature fragrance.
Yes I love them all but Gem & Mitsouko are the Gems of the haul for me 💎

You know I never get angry at unnecessarily excessive packaging. 😄 A few more seconds of cutting is worth not having a broken bottle. But that YSL box gradient totally reminds me of Fahrenheit Summer. That old Pi a great pickup too. One of the best designer almond freshies ever made by a popular perfumer. The newest formula actually did away with the Pi logo on the front of the bottle all together. More gourmand, less freshness, but not killed completely. Great to see Envy in the haul! The Guerlains almost stole the show.
Thats right! Shout out to Cullen for excellent packaging... i think the Guerlains did steal the show and my "Heart" (sorry couldnt help myself 🙄😂)
Guerlain's Mitsouko extrait, parfum and parfum de toilette are older Diaghilev sisters.

I live in Colorado, pretty close to Red Rocks, and I see a LOT of Texas plates, but after speaking with some of them (including one of my immediate neighbors) I get the impression they moved to Colorado because they didn't like Texas' politics. I don't want this state to get any bluer than it has :( About the fragrances, nice haul by the way. I didn't know if you were aware, but Gucci Envy for Men actually went through a reformulation throughout its run; first it was a pale yellow/green with stronger mid and base notes, then it turned to a more neon green color, with a stronger ginger top note. Personally I prefer the reform, actually.
I noticed there is a difference between the two Gucci Envy for Men bottles I have ... honestly I will take whatever I can get as that is a hard one to track down 😊

Nice haul! Gucci Rush For Men was my signature fragrance when I was younger, for almost a decade. Unfortunately due to the bottle design they evaporate + lose top notes, even when sealed in the packaging or gift sets (they used a goofy hard plastic packaging rather than cellophane, which allowed air in/out).
Creative bottle design, but in regards of maintaining the fragrance’s integrity, they were the worst!

That Monsieur Givenchy Haute Concentration is out of this world good... the OG from 59' Monsieur Givenchy is okay but I wore them both to bed last night and the haute concentration is 🔥
I still have my original Gucci Rush bottle and the metal sides fell off in the drawer where I keep it.

I noticed all your YSL Pour Homme are a light amber/ gold color however I have a bottle 60 ml edt splash 76 degrees ,and it’s deep amber brown like Rochas Femme if you will ?? Smells perfect so not spoilt and no box nor sticker on the base so I thought that was odd .?? Anyways great stuff from the Ram 🙏✌️👍
I have a mini of vintage YSL pour homme and the juice is amber ... maybe this one has never been sprayed before so it has not had air mix with the perfume yet🤷🏻♂️

Used Mark Cross a lot in the 80 ies, together with Phileas from Nina Ricci...Now concerning your bottle of YSL pour homme, Used it too but I can't remember any such bottle, I think the spray was in the red cap (different)...but I could be wrong... You made me very jealous with your 80ies collection, although I still have some beauty too :)
I think this is just a really old version of YSL Pour Homme... cant wait to try it... wore the Monsieur Givenchys to bed amd while the original is nice the haute concentration version is a stone cold stunner
@@RamseytheRam those are jewels In Belgium it’s now 15:50 hours, I am going out en will use Calvin, by Calvin Klein. Still havé à lot of vintages and it’s time to use them. I only have 350 bottles so I will be dead before I empty them all :-). Thank you 🙏

I had Gucci Rush back in 2004,i remember the performance was very weak,i was spraying a lot and nobody would notice that i was wearing a fragrance :)
Ohh noo... i know it was a pretty soft fragrance from what i remember... i actually prefer Azzar Visit for Men 🙂
I have a bottle, from 2000, and it is not like that at all. I have read that many say that it does not project or its longevity is lacking, yet mine seems to do well on that chapter. I still get wiffs from it, days after aplication on clothes.

Mitsouko's blue and white sticker is from the 70s. The box on which parfum is written instead of extrait is from the 80s. The Mitsouko you show in the first place I can't tell you because I don't see the sticker on the base of the bottle

36:35 last week I went to Neiman Marcus in San Diego, I smelled all the pretentious crap of Clive Christian and oh dear 😐… way overpriced fully snobby, basic . Most people believe pricey fragrances are the best but they should not disregard any vintage cheapie just because it’s not popular .
