Amazing Vid! I have been racking up on many decants. I got Melt My Heart 50ml. Wow!! It is the best chocolate note IMO. I love the supporting Absinthe note and fresh side notes. I find that I can layer this with some warm spicy frags and even Via Cavour 1. Atman Xaman is soooo good. I heard there is some TF Tobacco Vanille in it. I do get hint of that but this is 10 levels better. I think the spice is so pleasant and supporting tobacco is well done. Memory Motel is very nice and smooth spice. It makes me feel like you are in a classic noire movie and picking up old motel feel but really nice notes. Clove note is soft and amazing. I arrived into NYC Friday and went to Lucky Scent niche store (Scent Bar). I ended up getting Kagiroi by Di Ser. The ingredient are natural and from Japan. Amazing freshy! I would say it is like you in Japan surrounded by pleasant Japan nature and some citrus touch staying into the dry down. The initial citrus blast calms down after a minute. Also I hit the Dunhill store and tried all the frags. Arabian Dessert is my fav and such high quality. I already have Egyptian smoke. The rose is very soft and quality, not fem at all. I discovered that after 3 hours the tobacco kicked in very nicely.

ASQ brand is originated from Saudi Arabia. No doubt, some of their fragrances are unique in top note but the dry down is same as other brands. The most negative part is their pricing. Around 75% is wasted on outer luxurious packing plus the container bottles. It seems the the product is conquered through presentation in terms of price but not the ingredients. ASQ can reduce their pricing by 60% through normal average packing.

This is the one from D.S.&D that I've been interested in the most. I live in a part of New York that does a lot of wood processing and carpentry, and has lots of old wooden cabins and cottages, so any fragrances that remind me of home are always going to get my attention.

I love this unique combination of leather accord that Bianchi gives to us. I find it so similar to Histoires de Parfums 1740. Dont you?? Both are well cosntructed under huge dose of labdanum and birch tar, imortelle, and pathouli and smoky. The difference are that Bianchi shines with her the essential iris in the game and also it sits under a huge dose of vetiver. 1740 its a little bit more balanced, but all in all, i find them equally great.

So far tried bowmaker and st vetiver. Like them a lot and would buy but a bit pricey . I don’t think coriander was a hit judging by the amount of sales on eBay .

HI RAM GREAT VIDEO just Wanted to say that I got lucky to found few mls of vintage fille en anguilles I was amazed off course but that happens after I bought an gratciell bottle (a partial) What I found after many wares is I can see some very minuscule difference not in the scent but maybe in the thickness off it that could be maybe being an older scent top notes probably evaporated some hey I have a trained nose but not that great of a perfumier what I was able to find out for sure is the new in a gratciell bottle was radiating crazy Few coworkers in the construction feel I was told by the end off the day they smell it true the whole construction development around 50 apartments 2 sprays I know it was a powerful scent but I never imagined it was that noticeable they come to me asking me what I was waring I told them it was a some kind of mentholated pine resin for my knee pain I swear to you 😅 And they been like bring me some smells really good to' True story this happens whit the new gratciell bottle In other nite just got 5 o clock gingebre 50 ml black label the first time I spray it as soon they come in delivery I tought it was week little scent so I put it away I taste it again last night after a month or so I inmediatle noticed the scent the ginger the tee cinnamon and so on wake this morning whit a very resinous scent on my hand Not a little fragrance anymore! I think fragrances need to rest after travel changes temperatures and shake and movement I noticed that for years in my fragrances and I keep forgetting. Do you think it's a big difference in this fragrance between the clear label and the new black label? My best wishes to you RAM!

ramsey i saw this video of yours before and i was very curious to test any fragrance from this brand but they are impossible to find in my country but luckily one of the collectors in my country who collects thousands of scents that are very rare and hard to find wanted to sell his bottle that was specially imported for him (he said it wasn't his taste) and i instantly bought it. i got a great deal on a second generation metal cap version that is almost full and the combination of woody oily oud, cinnamon, cocoa and castoreum with that gorgeous florals are to die for, truly a beautiful experience unlike any other niche scent i have ever tried . the animalics are minimal to my nose and the scent is very likeable to most i would say and very wearable too. ill have to try to find other scents from this brand or areej le dore in the future because now i understand these are what true perfumery is all about.

Speaking of Dominique Ropion fragrances, did you know he worked heavily with Nishane on Hacivat Oud? Bought Hacivat Oud last year and have been loving it. You should for sure get your nose on it. I could send a little decant if you’d like. What I get on it is Pineapple and citruses, a smooth and very very slightly animalic oud, earthy vetiver, and almost a super dark chocolate note in the background. Then it dries down to a super smooth and woody scent mixed with pineapple on my skin. Very interesting fragrance and one of my favorites of all time.

Great video. I finally sprung to get the Bortnikoff discovery set with 15 or so samples, and I'm working my way through them. Mysterious Oud is my scent of the day - in your review video for that one, you mentioned Terry's chocolate oranges, which is spot on!

I’ve been wanting to get my hands on this for years now. Is this at all similar to musc ravageur by Frederic Malle? Seems to share a lot of the same notes/ vibe. Maybe the old formulation of it that went slightly more anamalic as opposed to the gourmondy new version. I love musc ravageur, it’s one of my all time favorites. This seems like an even better version with more complexity, longevity, and darker smoothness.

I love Opium pour Homme, best YSL fragrance for me. I'm a sucker for their classic fragrances like M7 or Rive Gauche but at the same time I think that La Nuit de L'homme original or Bleu electrique is still a great fragrance worthy of YSL name.

Jazz, My favorite one 🥂Not the Live one. the Jazz from 1988 🤗 A friend of mine who worked at the Spanish embassy gave me half a bottle of Pour Homme and it was Nuclear, since the 80s it was my favorite) then I had Kouros Eau de Sport, Kouros and the M7. Today as I write, I have a quarter of the M7, I bought it in Copenhagen in 2003 :-) two bottles of Jazz 100 ml nuclear. 🍷Ramsey, I love the way you describe the fragrance of perfumes. 🥂

I've been enjoying going back and watching these older ranked vids. I never gravitate towards coffee as usually I find them too gourmand, but one I found I truly enjoy which is more of a nutty/coffee and it is Very Irresistible for men by Givenchy in the greenish yellow and black triangle bottle. So good!! Also, a priceless hiccup tip, whenever hiccups attack go eat a spoonful of peanut butter. 60% of the time it works every time!

Man oh man!!! I’m glad you mentioned Fendi. A rarely mentioned but a majorly well renowned fragrance in the 80s. My favorite aunt was a perfume-a-holic, and she loved this.

Hi Ramsey, thank you for the wonderful & thorough review! I'm so happy that you are enjoying my Chypre No.1. I wanted to answer a few of your questions. First, my perfumes are IFRA compliant. I use the rectified oakmoss at the max and then make up the difference with alternatives. Also the only true animalic in this fragrance is the white ambergris. The deer musk and civet are accords I create to replicate those animal facets. You have a very good nose because coffee berry is part of my civet reconstruction although it is not a listed note. Thanks again for taking the time to smell my work. I'm so very honored! ❤️ 🌸 ✨

The TikTok “performance BEAST” crowd should probably look into Bianchi’s work, but I personally few things as un-erotic as overstaying one’s welcome. It was fun, but the afterglow is long over and it’s been like 6 hours of pillow-talk and it’s insisting on staying for breakfast. At least this discovery set venture has told me that I definitely like castoreum as a note. The Lovers Tale and The Black Knight were probably my favorites of the bunch, I’ll keep my nose out for similar things that haven’t been spackled over in orris butter 🤧

Aventus is so popular that even Creed is cloning it. 🤣 Edit: Also, I have two bottles of Aventus from 2016 (16A01 & 16F01) and one from 2017 (17N01) and even those I don't care about. I haven't been spraying them much often because I've been reach for SMW and VIW. One day, I MIGHT sell it just to get rid of it. However, I'm still trying to give it more chances to shine.

Bro I did it based on yours and several other recommendations plus after looking @ the notes I had to know and I purchased a bottle of Halston z-14. This is a beautiful fragrance! I am luving the blend of the obvious lemon/ bergamot on the top with the larger stronger cinnamon leather notes and of course that powdery note that kind of sprinkles into this fragrance. 100% masculine and I get darker Hermes vibes if this makes sense
