- This is my early impression of Avant-Garden Lab (formerly Oliver & Co.) Gincense created in 2012 by Oliver Valverde. This particular version has been reformulated & a new version of Gincense is now available for purchase since 2023. Gincense is part of the "Illustrated Series". Ooh Incense Extreme, my sotd. Amazing and very wearable, which I often find to be an issue with more incense focused scents, unless I'm just sitting on the couch... Looking forward to the reviews!
I love Incense extreme... maybe one of my all time favorite Incense frags 🙂
I purchased Gincense and Resina in 2018, so I have them in the older bottles. They are both excellent fragrances. I think it is about time to give some of his other fragrances a go.

I'm not familiar with brand or fragrance but original sounds interesting from a collectors perspective.
BTW! I'll be getting my first *Ensar Oud soon. It's called Ertugrul Oud. I'd love to get *JAMAICAN AMBERGRIS but it's such a hefty price .
I also have the new rerelease of kilians *IMPERIAL TEA & the discontinued *Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. And hopefully I'll be able to get 2 from PERITO MORENO.

This fragrance is very interesting... when it comes to ginger note the best ginger note ive ever smelled has to be the Bvlgari Le Gemme Empyr. Its has one of the best ginger burning sensation along with realistic orange peel and orange flesh note. The star is the ginger from top to drydown. It has metallic feeling with dry sandalwood. It does have a soft animalic hint as well. Ive tested in duty free in Turkey. Still to this day ive never forget the experience from that fragrance.
Never smelled Empyr but I will put it on the never ending to sniff list 🐽
@RamseytheRam it is unique, and if you smell it once, you can never unsmell it again. You know I love vintage and artisonal fragrances, but for modern release, it was very surprising.
