Gracias Laura! Gracias por tus estupendos videos! Me encantan los perfumes y todas las actrices que has nombrado.quiero conseguir Mitsouko..⚘❤
Whether I’m going to work or on the weekend I don’t feel like I’m complete without a spritz of my favorite perfume. loved this.
me too! I even wear it to bed
Me too haha
@@DaniGarome too!
My late father always used Old Spice. When I smell it, I remember him.
Great video. I love perfume. My beautiful Mom always had a bottle of perfume, even though we were ,I guess, poor. As we got older, she let us choose a small bottle every few months. We were the best smelling farm girls in Texas!
Awe thanks!
Same with me my mom and my grandma never were able to afford really fancy perfumes but as I put in one of my comments on here they did have blue waltz which was launched in 1927 I still have three bottles of them they're newer bottles from I think the 1990s but yeah that's one person but yeah I usually buy Avon perfume well I used to until they got a little bit more expensive now I just go to TJ Maxx or Ross and get them cheaper
The advertising for these perfumes is just so beautiful.
Im going to buy mitsouko. Jean Harlow had such an “it” factor about her, I’d like to smell like she did. Peaches & oak moss gorgeous.
perfume bottles were so beautiful then, like a work of art
Tabu is still one of my favorite scents. As a kid my mother would spray that perfume on my clothes. Love the video 😍
Thanks for watching
I love Jean Harlow. Comedic, charmimg, helplessly sexy, not vulnerable but alluring. Claimed the look of wearing white silk sheath with nothing else underneath 🤍 Just slinked across the screen torching everywhere she by passed. Another co- morbidity like James Dean ~ 💠 briefly dropped by earth singeing her brand into Earth & galaxied off 🌌
Joan Crawford and Marilyn on the Background. My two favorites. ❤
Vintage perfume videos are my fav🥰
Thank you
My mothers favorite perfume was Shalimar and mine is Chanel #5
Love shalimar
My mom too. And White Shoulders. Love em.
Chanel 5 is the best perfume ever. I love it! It reminds me of my grandma
It doesn't smell like the original anymore, i know they changed the formula because it doesn't smell the same.
Oh my goodness!!! I love these perfume videos 🥰... I am a collector as well and most of your videos have given me inspiration to go back in time and buy😊... I love it ❤️ Oh!... And scentbird is an absolutely fabulous subscription.... I am a subscriber myself 🥰❤️❤️❤️thank you for being here Laura🙏🏻
Thank you! I know I love scent bird it’s so good for perfume lovers
Same, Laura inspires me for some perfumes, especially for vintage ones and I will subscribe on scent bird as well 💖
Another banger! Your videos are always a fun glimpse into the past
Thanks so much
I wonder about the use of centuries old 4711 perfume. It's nice and light, never over-powering like Tabu
Another great video Laura! I love 1930s perfumes and movie stars too! Seems like such a delicate decade
Thank you! I know the 1930s are so interesting
My favorite is Secret of Venus.
Laura, you should smile every chance you get because your smile is so super pretty. Your whole face lights up. Thank you for your videos and all the hard work and research you do to make them historically accurate ❤
Guerlain ❤
My kind of video, two of my favorite topics.. Old Hollywood and classic fragrances. ❤❤
My grandma my mom my mom would have been 80 now and my grandma would have been 102 they used to buy the blue waltz perfume which started out in 19 it was launched out in 1927 I have three bottles of it they're like in a heart-shaped bottle they're really good smelling but I don't wear them myself but since my mom and my grandma are now gone I just take a with them once in awhile it reminds me of them but yeah look up blue waltz and it was launched in 1927
Wonderful job done! Loved this video 💛
Thanks so much

Merçi Laura Jane ~ The Most Beautiful Yet From Your Atelier 💐
More 1930's videos. More!!! If you have more please post!
Fantastic video. I own a fair variety of original vintage perfumes, I think I will try Le De today.
Yes! It’s a good one
Loveee that joan crawford picture behind you.
Loved this video! So well done
I'd like to see Gucci Envy back
Need to try that one
@@Laurajaneatelier they discontinued it in 2006.. I was heartbroken..
Especially the for Men edition. I have a few 15 ml bottles of it and a few clones. Discontinuations are the bain of the industry.
I've always loved perfume and colonge. My favorite is Jazz Club by Replica. I've been pairing it with my other perfumes and so far it smells amazing with everything I've paired it with.
Also, what movie are the scenes around 5 minutes from? It cracked me up. 🤣💚🖤
I have and like Jazz Club. I like the "raunchy" quality.of the tobacco note. I have lots of Replica line frags by Maison Martin Margiela. I love the line and its theme. (btw, "Replica" is the line or series of fragrances, but the brand/house/designer/maker is Maison Martin Margiela).
@@JT-rx1eo I keep forgetting Replica isn't the brand's name... 🤣 but, yes, I love their more raunchy (I love that description) smell. 💚🖤
Wow. So happy to have stumbled upon your fantastic channel ❤❤
One day can you talk about your doll collection or put it to a vote.
I have a video in my membership about it
Loved it! I saw some very old perfumes on instagrams the history is so neat on them to 🎉
Perfect video, so interesting. Thank you♥️👏
Wonderful presentation...I learned a few things.
Mae West was like Elsa Schiaparelli a woman ahead her time and inspired much designers and artists. The "Femme" flakon from Marcel Rochas was designed too after the figure of Ms.West. Marcel Rochas adored Mae West as the idol of his youth.👛🩰💕
Elsa Schiaparelli, who introduced the color Pink in fashion, designed a famous dress in Pink for Mae West, which was a wracker in 💄🎉
Fashion world. Elsa Schiaparelli came from a famous italian family of scholars and her father was one of the most famous Egyptologists of
the world and the Doyen of the University of Rome, Prof.Ernesto Schiaparelli, who discovered the tomb of queen Nefertari, the favourite wife
of Ramses II.
Elsa Schiaparelli left a big heritage in fashion and an exquisite mark in history through her granddaughter Marisa Berenson, the famous
actress ( Barry Lindon) and one of the most beautiful women of the world.💛💚💐
I'm almost 67, and while Marisa Berenson was big when I was a teen...I was today years old when I found out her connection to Elsa Schiaparelli. Now her success makes a LOT more sense!!!
@@joannathesinger770 Thank you for your kind reply and nice memory
of Ms.Berenson🤍👛

Hello - Mae West also loved JOY. Thank you.
THANK YOU ❤🎉
It is a 70s perfume but I love wearing anais anais. Ungortunately older vintage perfumes are too strong for me. I love pairing it with Elizabeth Arden white tea.
hello nice video as history nerf thank you for this video :)
Thanks for watching
Oh yes, May West, "come up and see me sometime." You never met a man who made you happy? "Of course I have, many, many times."
Nice to hear a shout out to Caswell-Massey. I'm curious about Fracas, going to order a sample.
I tried and genuinely loved their Elixir of Love perfume!
I just love your channel. You look so beautiful Laura.😊💖
could you please do a video about raquel welch's beauty secrets
Laura, was one of your best!!!
Thank you!!
I had Tabu in '80 & '90's. It was . . .OK.
I bet the original was good
i wonder how my escada pour homme would compare to some of the scents from this decade
You look lovely xoxo
Thanks lovely
I came across your channel on Vintage perfumes I have quite a bit of vintage perfume and bottles makeup and other vintage items but my question to you is I had a bottle of Ben-Hur I don't recall what five-and-dime store I purchased it in the late 60s and receive so many compliments. Where can I purchase this little small bottle of Ben-Hur thank you so much
Ben Hur smells like Blue Waltz. You can get Blue Waltz.
