After watching this video I dug into this house and studied all its fragrances. I ended up getting one you haven't mentioned, which is Bois D'Iris, which has a beautiful aromatic almost balsamic iris, and the woody notes mixed with the vanilla and amber, so dreamy. Can't wait to smell Orchidee Vanille though, and since I truly trust your opinion I'm pretty sure is going to be amazing!
I remember my mom was wearing First a long time ago. I own Orchidée Vanille, Bois Doré and Bois d‘Iris. I have my hands on California Revérie and Santal Blanc. Maybe Rose Rouge too. Wonderful line. Like it a lot. Thank you for sharing!
I new this house thanks to you from another video where you featured it! I got a travel spray of Boris Dore last year and loved it. Never bought it and I wore the travel spray this week and just went online and made the purchase. Such a gorgeous scent and def Unisex.

I have tried California Reverie- It really is a lovely scent. Nothing super-challenging and I wish it lasted a bit longer. But it is a good everyday fragrance that should be widely appealing. I’m excited to explore some others in this range.

I was halfway through the video and I felt a little heartbroken because I thought Neroli Amara wasnt included in the list. Glad you made it number 2. It could easily be my no 1 vca no doubt. I only own Orchidee Vanille by Vcaa, and I adddooore it, it's so classy, I use it only in the cold weather. I'd really like to try California Reverie, it sounds like it's the kind of scent I would enjoy during the summer. Thanks for the video! 😄👋

VAN CLEEF & ARPELS is a house that I haven't had the opportunity to smell yet. They all sound incredible. Would really love to sample some of these, especially Bois D'Amande and Bois D'Ore.

My faves from most to least liked of the 6 I have so far are: Rose Rouge, Orchidee Vanille, Bois Dore, Gardenia Petale, Precious Oud, and Orchid Leather. VCA is a wonderful brand. I’m looking forward to adding more from your list!

I remember Midnight in Paris and regret that I never got a bottle before they discontinued it - stunning bottle and stunning fragrance at an amazing price (when it was still produced).
I love this house. You are corrected underrated with great pricing and quality.
Precious Oud is my absolute favourite! I went through 2 bottles of it. I would say it’s for those who like the idea of Tom Ford’s Black Orchid, but find it too strong. Love it! Will go and sniff other recommended fragrances from this house now!

California Reverie is probably my favorite summer fragrance… so delicate and beautiful.

I have Precious Oud under shipping and highly recommend it to the list. Rose Rouge also. I'm happy that I have Vancleef in my collection, definitely underrated
These my 2 absolute favorites too!
I've just finished my Orchid Leather bottle, very nice fragrance: leather over a sweet vanillic flower. Also, there's another discontinued one called Rêve d'Ylang very very nice. I remember it was a limited edition really, and was quite costly compared to the others.
Was just in the store and smelled these, and right this minute I am at home sniffing Neroli Amari on one arm, orchidee vanilla on the other and California reverie in a paperstrip. Those were my instant favourites. I want to get all three, and since it's summertime right now I'll go for Neroli and California. Incredibly fresh citrus florals🏵️☀️🍋

Love this collection Sebastian. My faves are all number 1, i cant rank them 🤪 ：California Reverie (best jasmine ever made after the iconic Serge Lutens A la Nuit IMO) and vanille orchidee ( one of my faves vanillas) and Rose Rouge (compliment galore). After your video i will try moonlight patchouli and neroli amara. You need to get your hands on Rose Rouge! Ive never received so many compliments from non perfume lovers in my life 😂
This is a brand I never heard before, thank you for introducing this! I hope I can try them in my country soon. Have you tried the 2018-release Starck perfumes? I recently bought Peau de Lumiere Magique since the review is very limited lol
I blind bought Oud Blanc few days ago, I found the base note similar to Oud satin mood and Red velvet Rose & oud from Jo malone.

They have another oud in the black bottle, which I also like because it's not strong
I have 4 of them:) Rose Velours; Moonlight Patchouli; Santal Blanc and Bois D'oré.. Rose Velours is my favourite rose scent:) I love this house so much
that dark purple bottle (Pour Homme as he said) they had in the late 90s is what got me interested in non-mainstream fragrances (and fragrances in general). When I was in college
Néroli Amara is my signature fragrance since 2018. I loved it immediately.
Orchidee vanille is my top choice too! Great taste

I love all of their fragrances even if they are not my style. I agree about bois d'amande, such a shame it is subdued. But I absolutely love oud blanc, bois dore and orchid leather. the latter smells so luxurious
I have Ambre Imperial. It's a very thick and syrupy vanilla. A bit too much for me. But people seem to love it on me.
I have Bois Dorè and Precious Oud which I love both however I think all from the line are fantastic! 🎉👏🏼

I still own an old bottle of Tsar that belonged to my grandfather… Given it’s fallen victim to IFRA restriction and subsequently discontinuation, I use it sparingly! My favourites are currently Moonlight Patchouli and Orchidee Vanille. Wonderful!
You know Tsar is back and selling exclusively at the VC&E Paris Vendome boutique and it comes in similar bottles to the ones in this video, the Collection Extraordinaire. But I wore it in the early 90s and seems to be a bit too watered down. Sad! :(

I have bois dore. It smells like a vanilla cookie to me. Really good that protects all day. I wanted santal blanc so bad but after 5 min it’s gone
I bought a bottle at Heathrow Airport years ago. Very good.

Do you live in the US? I've been trying to buy Rose Rouge from Neiman Marcus but it's not online, which seems odd to me. Because of the price, I'm leery of buying it from the gray market.

@@lisahilton9616 I bought my bottle from Fragrance Net. It was cheaper than any bottles I saw on Mercari. You can buy it in person in the UK, the bottles were on display at certain department stores there. It must not have sold well here in the US.
Still have to explore this house a bit more, but my favourites so far (which I own) are Bois Doree and Ambre Imperial... Ambre Imperial wasn't mentioned in the list. Is it one you don't really care for or you haven't gotten around to try it? Impressions? Thanks for the video! 😄👍

Enjoyed your list. Only tried one from the collection, Bois d'Iris which i puchased after hearing it was very similar to Dior Bois d'Argent. I really enjoy it my girl and I have used more than half the bottle in about 4 months so I grabbed another bottle when it popped up on Fragrancenet again. Been wanting to try Bois Dore as well, have also heard its similar to Le Labo Tonka 25. Hope u have a great holiday. Thanks!

My favorite one in this house is Rose Velores. Sadly it's been discontinued, and I couldn't get the same feeling in the Rose Rouge.

Have you tried the ‘revè’ line up? They’re absolutely amazing, I have revè d’ylang it’s outstanding. Saffron, ylang and cardamom. Revè d’encens is beautiful too.

Stopped by Neimans today and smelled these on my way out. Absolutely fell in love with Bois D'Ore and Bois Amande! Really enjoyed the California Reverie and Patchouli Blanc as well, which was light and delicate and not a hippie patchouli at all.

I love Orchidee Vanille, Precious Oud is not on the list but that's my second favorite in thie line I have Oud Blanc and Bois Dore as well.

I tested Orchidee Vanille yesterday and I definitely agree with you, it is a gorgeous fragrance and yes Randa Hammami is middle eastern , specifically Syrian, she did Epic man for Amouage and multiple fragrances for Gerlain and others. What I may disagree with you is the ranking of Bois D'Amande , for me it is a great perfume but as you always say, scent is always subjective . my best wishes to you for a merry Christmas.
Does Santa Blanc = Milky Musk? Considering trying santal Blanc but wondering if it’s redundant to have both (I have milky musk).

Okay, I really need to try Orchidee Vanille again. I received a sample a while ago and was underwhelmed. It just smelled like another vanilla - nothing special. Now I’m thinking something must have been wrong with the sample. Time to give it another try.

I wanted to get back around to this house to try more. I only have bois d'iris and it's one of my most worn scents in my collection. I love it but it's extremely soft, I tend to go ham on it lol.
It's discontinued here sadly! At least my SA at Neimans told me! :( But yes there's some solid Fragrances in the collection for sure. :)
