I love that grapple, and the tractor! I have the same setup, only with a cab 🤑

I have this grapple on my LX 3310 ! I know it is over kill for my tractor but I watched the videos on the smaller size and didn’t want to have problems with bending anything and I really think the extra large protective plates help with limbs coming through into your grill! I have picked up some boulders and column rocks and have not bent the lower tines! My tractor is a bit small and lacks in pushing power to get full use of root digging capabilities of this grapple but I would buy it again if I needed to!

I had the same model you do on an L4060. It seems like the grease zerks were tapped into the pins themselves. I used mine to pick up rocks, broken concrete slabs, etc and never bent one. I’ve see a video of a guy who did while abusing it moving boulders. Personally, I would not recommend welding a bar for support; as that will limit its digging ability. Just my 2 cents. The rakes on the back side of the tines are for raking brush, etc.

Thanks for the comments. I agree I might back out of welding the bar in between the tines. I’ve been playing around with the grapple some more and it’s helpful when the tines dig into the ground to rip up roots and stumps. For the grease zerks my grapple has them on the main pin for the top lid. I couldn’t find anything for the pins on the cylinders. If you have a picture of what yours looks like that might be helpful.

@@gearheadtom8646 thanks for your response. I WISH I still had that grapple and tractor. Instead I have a M7060 and the grapple with it is a Landpride 1572.

Thanks for the video. I have a MX 6000 also and I’m looking to get a grapple here in the next couple weeks. Are you still happy you got the 60 instead of the 72 and has anything bent on it yet? I would like to use mine to load logs on trailers also .8 foot and as big as diameter as I can lift, hopefully 24 or 26 inch anyway Thank you.
