I have a 6000 I use on 70 acres in West Virginia, mostly woods and yes hills. Incredible tractor with plenty of weight and lift capacity. That said you are correct stay away from getting sideways on a hill. All tractors have the same issue.

I have an MX5400 open station and love it so far (200 hrs.). I agree with you about liking the mechanical linkage vs. electronic, but maybe I'm just old school. Also, I added a Pats Easy change hitch and love it. Not all my attachments are quick hitch compatible, and pats has made my life a lot easier. thanks for the video.

Have the MX5200 shuttle shift open-station, TLB @ 6.5YEARS & 1050 hours with flawless profomance. The fuel tank of 14 Gallons takes 10.5 hours of Extreame heavy-duty loader work to drain it. Using the backhoe in combination will take 18-20 hours to drain it. I "Realy" spend more money on grease than fuel. Your fuel "issue " is that "right-go-back-n-forth-pedal" on the floor. These rigs with the "hydro-slack-o-howl-matic's" are "PURE FUEL HOGS".... & ease up on the full time 4×4 action, you know it's in a "Bind" 95% of the time. Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy safe tractoring. Best wishes with all your endeavours. God be with you Also!

I wish this video was horizontal, being vertical makes the screen so small

You should consider adding wheel weights on the rear wheels for better stability and traction. I've got 3 sets on mine with the loaded tires and it makes a world of difference!

I prefer the tank up away from the more likely danger of punching a hole in it and 8 hours before your low to the point you need to fuel…sounds like plenty of tank and great efficiency to me. Best wishes

if seat switch is normally open unplug it and twist the two wires going away from seat together. you should solder and heat shrink but just a quick twist and black tape will last for years on a cab

Thanks for the video and be cautious if using off road diesel with these new tractors. I was told by a service tech it can raise problems due to the new technology in these tractors. Maybe more will come out on that in the future. I do wish the mx6000 had a beefier rear end as i have seen where one person has cracked his twice and kubota would not fix as they claimed it was operator error.

Is there a link you could share about it?

Off road diesel should just be regular s15 diesel fuel with red dye. Do not use heating oil. A lot of people are under the impression heating oil and off-road diesel are the same thing. They're not.

Check your loader seals mine had to be changed shortly after purchase, they wouldn't hold.
Also front wheel bearings had to be replaced in 500 hours.

Do you have loaded tires? That also makes a big difference in stability.

How you like the r14 tires look like more traction, do they tear up your yard bad

If it has rained I’ll have to wait a day or so to mow but other than that not at all
