Marriage was and continues to be one of the most significant institutions in African societies. Marriage is encouraged in African cultures and comparable cultures for two major reasons: the continuance of society and the development of social integrity. For example in Ndebele culture, various family members, including aunties, uncles, and grandparents, encourage and nurture the two parties' connection . The family and community's participation means that they function as a source of support in guaranteeing the couple's marriage's success.
In this documentary, we get to cook at Mr. and Mrs. Ndlovu's wedding and learn about the intricacies that go into a cultural wedding. We also learn about the many family members' roles in the union of these two people, as well as the cultural processes followed by both the Sibanda (Bride) and Ndlovu (Groom) families.
    LOVE is a beautiful feeling!

~ About Magriza Made Me Cook:
» Magriza is slang for uGogo (Grandmother in isiNdebele) and the name of the show is derived from Prince's inspiration for falling in love with cooking; his grandmother. The goal of MMMC is to document and serve Africa's diverse food culture, one dish at a time. We believe that Africa has got unique meals that ought to be talked about, and most importantly, cooked consistently. We believe in the values of Ubuntu, Respect, Creativity and Minimalism.

@@MagrizaMadeMeCook The people who did the Rock Art are still there in the South West of Zimbabwe. I think we should incorporate them into our story telling and oral history. The Khalanga people also seem to be among the oldest,if not the oldest , socially organized people in Zimbabwe.
