1 year finally I'm about to use my reels in 3 weeks! Haven't broke it in or anything bro. I remember when you posted this. Now I can finally make use of mine haha. Putting both my 15 and 35 to yellow tail. In San clemente island. Aboarding the mother ship trip.
Nice reel I just got mine yesterday came in the mail. I can't wait to use my real put on the Phoenix. That reel 2speed 35 perfect man. It fits perfect in the hands and just enough weight so you can initially feel it.
Just used it yesterday for the first time offshore and its very smooth, pulled fish at 350 feet deep on low gear was effortless. Drag peeling on AJ was very smooth as well.

Hello, if you are mainly doing slow jigging or long fall jigging, this model is a little too heavy, maybe a size smaller and single speed. Check out Shimano OceaJG2000NRHG as well!

if you are referring to Daiwa SASD35HA Saltiga Star Drag Reel, this 2 speed lever drag reel is approximately 3oz heavier and has 15lb more drag. overall size should be similar.

Hey does your reel have a slight weird play when trying to reverse the handle. Like a small gear play. Then stops rotation? Its a bit weird to me.
