What's the deepest depth you guys fished on that trip? I don't remember coming across any yellow eyes on my gulfstream charters(~150ft)
The silk snappers aka yellow eyes we caught were around 200-240ft.
Nice parrotfish by the way! They’re in the same family as hogfish. Was it possible for you guys to keep that?

No need to wear the mask out in the open ocean air. Nice catches.
Tip when fishing 3 hooks, if you hook up and feel it’s a small fish, leave it down there and the commotion is like ringing the dinner bell for the other two hooks, usually attracting a monster nearby.

What depth were you guys working with when you guys got the hogfish? On Florida gulf coast that I fished at, it’s usually between 50-70ft. Cool video by the way❤️

Could you do a video showing the action. Based off my experience with the St.C inshore, the M felt more like a ML. So in theory I was hoping the MH would be more of what I was looking for. I would really appreciate it!

Looking at getting either the M or MH rod with 2500-3000 and running 10lb J braid with 1/8 to 1/4 for inshore down here on the Gulf Coast. I've used the ST.C Inshore M and I was missing fish. It felt more like a ML. At this price point I don't want to find out the hard way that its got to soft of a tip. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance
@@steveng461 , I have the Medium Heavy fast action and it feels good for 20 lb Samurai J Braid. I don’t like using it for Saltwater applications but when I do fish Saltwater I prefer using Penn Slammer 3/4 4500 series. Torque is best when catching anything bigger than 10 lbs.
