Also, I can't wait to see more of Armand's true self, but not in a "tragic backstory" way, but more in an evil/manipulative way. He's such an intriguing character!

Yeah, Armand's tragic backstory (tm) had a few details that made me sideeye him. I mean, Marius did some things, but it makes me wonder if it's just how things happened in the show or if Armand is massaging some details for Louis. It also made me question a few things from Armand's book, and Armand's section in Marius' book. 🤯
Louis warned Claudia of the danger of the coven. He told her they should leave. She told him to mind his business and that she needed this. Now, people are upset that Louis chose Armand over her and didn't stand up for her when Armand disciplined her in the theater. She is not a child. She is going to have to deal with the consequences of her actions.
I keep thinking that Louis developing the fire gift is going to have something to do with the Theatre de Vampire burning down.
Briana, you are my spirit twin when it comes to how you react to each scene - and I LOVE how the running commentary veers from love to loathing in a second if a character harms or threatens their dearest daughter, and the complete swoon whenever Loustat share a moment together! God, I love them so much! Ben Daniels is a flawless Santiago, and Assad is killing it as Armand - but I'm dreading seeing my boy Daniel going through it in episode 5! Great reaction, as always, B!
The LuLu play is basically about Claudia. And Armand KNOWS that!!!!!!
The way I cackled when Louis had Santiago's tongue!!! I said "Aww shoot" my toxic behind thought that was lightweight sexy. And Armand hitting that table and yelling ENOUGH was.....ooooo wwweeee!!!!

The fact that Santiago clocked their NOLA accent should've let them know they are not safe. And Armand told Louis don't lie to them, they are not forgiving. Smh
Louis is sounding real Pimp DuLac-ish with that "You sure about that Arun?" All that was missing was "I can be your, mother, your father, your everything baby"
lol the laws don’t cancel out because the coven leader can do whatever he wants, and when it’s Armand…he’s gonna use them to make Lestat suffer as much as possible
I love how you get the point of Anne’s characters and how they’re all morally awful but we can still root for them 😅😂
Louis' point was that he wanted to leave, warned Claudia to worry about the coven, but Claudia was the one who wanted to join them. That's what he meant when he said she left him first. She chose the coven over him.

We may love to hate Santiago, but Ben Daniels is playing his villain role amazingly. They are all technically villains to us humans as monsters/vampires. Anne Rice's stories were ahead of its time. Armand is a complex character, but he has the weight of centuries of living as a vampire on his shoulders. Assad is playing him well. I mean just the eye acting. . . His facial expressions show us so much more going on under the surface. I do feel bad for Claudia and what is going to happen to her, but there is a reason they have the rule about children vampires. We need a Season 3 and Lestat's version of the story, and Queen of the Damned and Marius, Pandora, Merrick, etc. Even hear we are getting a Talamasca series. . . Raglan James from the Body Thief/ Talamasca was introduced for a reason.

Episode 5 Season 2 will finally cover the Devil's Minion with the first interview between Daniel and Louis in 1973 San Francisco. Jacob Anderson said it was by far his favorite episode personally of this entire season.
Jacob & Sam said episode 6 & 8 were their favorites. Eric & Assad said episode 5 was their favorite.
