- It's been a rough year for a lot of people, to say the least. We've been blessed so far, to stay healthy and well. Unfortunately, this virus has hit some of our immediate family members during the Christmas season. Everyone affected has very mild symptoms, but we are taking the proper precautions and postponing our Christmas festivities until everyone is better and has had time to quarantine. We mainly wanted to put this video out to keep everyone updated, to let you know that we are ok, and to please keep our family in your prayers. We thank you all for the love and support and we hope that you and your family have a very Merry Christmas!

We had it at my house. 8 people. Grand parents, adult children, grands. Ages 72 down to 4. Everyone recovered with no hospital intervention. Some lost taste and smell, others didn't. Everyone had extreme fatigue. Per Dr... drink lots of water and take vitamin supplement Zinc and rest. Started the 1st of Nov till middle of Dec. By God's grace and healing, we all recovered. This Christmas is very different for many folks. I'm home alone because I caught a cold, and now I have to get tested for Covid, so my children and grandchildren will know if it is safe to be around me. It's lonely, and I was having a pity party today, but then I watched a live stream of a Christmas Eve service. I miss being able to go to church in person, especially tonight, but I've got lots of good memories of Christmases past to dwell on. We lost a family member who lives in another state, to Covid last week, but I'm not afraid of the virus. As I've told my daughters: I know my Savior, so I know where I'm going when I die. Merry Christmas to you both, Jacob and Alex, and the pups.

Sorry , Prayers for your family. Love, prayers and blessings from Peru. We gathered our 5 families and my paralyzed friend who lives downstairs and had our Christmas celebration on Monday because today started the strongest lockdown we have yet experienced.
The Christmas season is hard for a lot of people. We lost my mom last year, and this year is harder than last in terms of her absence. - But - My dad was in the Air Force, so we were often away from family for major holidays and family gatherings. So... my mom taught me that Christmas celebration does not have to happen just one day on the calendar. So, knowing that you will have the family gatherings later, will give your family something look forward to, and help them feel uplifted during their healing. There is a time for every season under heaven.

We are the same, we have to postpone Christmas until everyone are well again. Both my parents and several other siblings all tested positive for Covid, some have worse symptoms than other. But everyone is doing fine. My kids and I all tested negative, just sad that we couldn't get together. Praying for everyone that are affected by the virus a speedy recovery.
